Rainstorms on Sunday, after the sunshine and very high temperatures of Saturday characterised the third round of 2012 S2 Supermoto European Championship in Pleven (Bulgaria). The first heat was won by the Czech rider Petr VORLICEK (HONDA) followed by the Italian Mattia MARTELLA (KTM) and the Dutch Devon VERMUELEN (KTM). The race has been characterized by the beautiful but unlucky performance of the British rider Chris HOGDSON (KTM) who was forced to retire for a problems to his rear wheel while he was leading the heat at one lap to the finish. In the second heat the Dutch rider Devon VERMUELEN (KTM) won leading the race from the start to the finish, in second position arrived the Italian Mattia MARTELLA (KTM) and third was the Czech Petr VORLICEK (HONDA).
