The 18th UEM-FIM Europe Congress started on Thursday the 27th of June in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. The event saw the participation of more than 250 delegates representing a total of 38 national Federations. The event was perfectly organized by the local Federation (LMSF) at the Hotel Le Meridien, located 15 km from Vilnius city center and immersed in a splendid green scenery. The FIM Europe Congress boasted among its guests the FIM President, Mr Vito Ippolito, and two FIM Vice-Presidents, Mr Jorge Viegas and Mr Nasser Khalifa. On Friday, several meetings were held by the Sporting and Non-Sporting Commissions, while Saturday hosted the Management Council meeting in the morning and in the afternoon the general Assembly.
