European Trial Championship in Grimmialp (Switzerland) – Day 2

Italian rider Gianluca Tournour won today the Trial European title in the main class - Photo by Mario Candellone Today in Grimmialp, Switzerland, the Italian rider Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas) conquered the European title. Two more titles were assigned: to French Pierre Sauvage (Sherco) in the Junior Cup class and to Vladimir Kothay (Ossa) from Slovakia, in the Over 40 Cup class. Yesterday Theresa Baeuml (Ossa) and Toby Martyn (Beta) had already won the title of European champions after winning respectively the last round of the FIM Europe Trial Women and Youth championship. In the top class all the eyes were focused on the duel between the two riders who shared the first position in the championship: Tournour and Francesc Moret (Vertigo).
