Everyone loves the sound of two strokes and the young rippers of EMX65 took theirs on the circuit of Loket this weekend. In front of thousands of fans the Danish rider, Mads Fredsoe Sorensen, was crowned as the 2017 EMX65 European Champion today. With area races throughout the year, this weekend’s racing was the pinnacle of the season and the lone championship decider, a highlight for not only riders but fans alike. This weekend was also scheduled to host the EMX85 Championship Final but it was cancelled after a red flag incident resulted in the tragic loss of the young Moldovian rider Igor Cuharciuc. In the EMX65 race one on Saturday the two dutch youngsters, Ivano Van Erp and Damian Knuiman, had a fierce battle for the lead all the way to the finish after the early race leader, Jaka Peklaj while crossing finish jump.
