The third and last Semi-Final of the Individual Speedway Junior European Championship was held in the French track of Macon. The winner was French David Bellago in front of Czech Vaclav Milik and third position to German Valentin Grobauer. The Final of the Individual Speedway Junior European Championship is scheduled on the 24th of August in Gustrow (Germany). (UEM Press Release 70/2013)    

The new Hill Climb Road Racing European Championship completed its second round this weekend at Imperia (Italy) with 42 riders enrolled for the European Championship. The twisty track between Carpasio and Prati Piani welcomed all riders with beautiful sunshine. But unfortunately both practice and race were accompanied by fog and mist. Finally the second heat of the race had to be canceled because of this reason. The winners of the different categories were the following: Moto3/125GP: Giovanni Ronzoni (ITA, Honda) 250cc Open: Pierre Favre (FRA, Yamaha) Sidecar: Oliver Dichamp/Vincent Peugeot (FRA, LCR) Superbike: Jean Noel Salvi (FRA, Honda) Supermoto Open: Luca Gottardi (ITA, Aprilia) Supersport: Stefano Manici (ITA, Triumph) Superstock 600: Francesco Curinga (ITA, FMI) Superstock 1000: Christophe Balmer (SUI, BMW) Next round is scheduled in Chatel St Denis (Switzerland) on the 29-30th of June. Also this year the Albacete track will host on the 5th and 6th of October the Road Racing European Championship to be held in a single event for riders of the Moto 3, Supersport 600cc. and Superstock 1000cc. classes. To the event will be admitted the first 5 qualified riders of each of the above mentioned classes in the national Open Championship of Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy plus the first four riders of the Regional Championships of the Nordic, Alpe Adria and Eastern Europe regions. The remaining participants will be chosen by the organizers after studying the applications received, as the regulations stipulate. The registration period is now open and ends on September. The fourth round of the Superstock 600cc Road Racing European Championship was held yesterday in Portimao (Portugal). The first Practice on Friday was running under perfect conditions, after the start of the second Qualifying on Saturday, the first drop of rain is coming and all riders come in to the pit. The Race Direction decided of Wet-Practice and on the end of the Qualifying the track was dry. The race was fought spectacularly among the first 4 riders! Every time changed the leader and on the end of the race the winner Franco Morbidelli (Italy/Kawasaki) was 0,06” before the second rider Gauthier Duwelz (BEL/Yamaha) and this 0,1” before the third Bastien Chesaux (SUI/Honda) The provisional rankings see the leadership of Gautier Duwelz with 77 points in front of Swiss Bastien Chesaux with 56 points. The second Semi-Final of the Individual Speedway Junior European Championship was held yesterday in the Swedish track of Malilla. The winner of this Semi-Final round was Swedish Oliver Berntzon followed by two Danish riders: Rasmus Jensen and Mikkel Michelsen. The first Semi-Final of the Individual Speedway Junior European Championship was held yesterday in the Polish track of Pila. The event was won by Latvian Andzejs Lebedevs, second position went to Polish rider Piotr Pawlicki and third position to Ukrainian Aleksandr Loktaev. Semi-Final 2 is scheduled on the 8th of June in Malilla (Sweden). (UEM Press Release 53/2013)  

The first Semi-Final of the Grass track Individual European Championship was held in the French track of Artigues de Lussac. The event was won by French rider Stéphane Tresarrieu, second position German Richard Speiser and Czech Josef Franc. The next Semi-Final is scheduled on the 7th of July in Noordwolde (The Netherlands). (UEM Press Release 50/2013)    

The 125cc Youth Track Racing European Cup was held yesterday in Pardubice (Czech Republic). The race was won by Czech Mikel Patrik, second position went to British Zach Wajtknecht and third position to German Darrel De Vries. (UEM Press Release 46/2013)      

The third round of the Superstock 600cc Road Racing European Championship and the European Junior Cup were held this weekend in Monza (Italy). The competition was held under difficult weather conditions between 6 degrees and 22 degrees. In addition, the weekend was both rain and sun. Both classes had very fine sporting results and there was fighting between many riders. EC Superstock 600 was marked by rain throughout the whole race. The start of the EC Superstock 600 was delayed 45 minutes after viewing the 3 minutes of the sign due to rain at the back of the field and then it developed to the whole track and race were publicly as "Wet Race" and shortened to 9 laps. The winner was Italian Nicolas Jr Morrentino (Yamaha), followed by Italian Luca Salvadori (Yamaha) and Italian Manuel Tatasciore (Yamaha). FIM European Junior Cup was played with very close competition, 10 drivers

The second Semi-Final of the Individual Speedway European Championship was held yesterday in Debrecen (Hungary). The winner of the Semi-final was Croatian rider Jurica Pavlic in front of Polish Robert Miskowiak and Danish Hans Andersen. Semi-final 3 of the Individual Speedway European Championship is scheduled on the 23rd of June in Murek (Austria). (UEM Press Release 34/2013)
