Northern Talent Cup: 2024 provisional calendar The FIM Europe is happy to inform that the provisional calendar for the 2024 Northern Talent Cup has been revealed. It’s a whole new era of competition as the Cup welcomes Honda as the single manufacturer and Pirelli as tyre supplier, in line with much of the Road to MotoGP™. A pre-season test will start the action at Oschersleben before 7 rounds, 14 races. The season is set to kick off at the classic TT Circuit Assen alongside WorldSBK, as is becoming NTC tradition. From there the Cup heads for the Sachsenring, Oschersleben and Most alongside the IDM, before a second round at the Sachsenring alongside MotoGP™ at the German Grand Prix. From the biggest sporting event in Germany, the NTC will head back to the TT Circuit Assen, this time alongside the IDM, before the season finale at the awe-inspiring Nürburgring. Registration is

Moto2 European Championship, Moto2 European Championship European Talent Cup Stock European Championship: Valencia season finale crowned the Champions The sun set in style at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia. The Moto2™ European Championship saw Senna Agius (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact Junior GP Team) sign off in style with victory from P17 on the grid, whilst European Talent Cup honours went to Guido Pini (AC Racing Team), although it was Maximo Quiles (Aspar Junior Team) who clinched the crown. Stock European Championship competition ended the day with David Muñoz (SP57 Racing Team) taking a fifth win of 2023. Moto2 The title had already been secured by Senna Agius at Aragon but he faced a different challenge in the final Moto2™ ECh race of 2023. European STK 1000 and SSP 300 Cup: Szamado and Tritscher grab the titles In mixed weather conditions the 6th and last round of the European STK 1000 and SSP 300 Cup was raced together with the Alpe Adria Championship at Automotodrom Grobnik, Croatia. The series went back to the track after the fourth round raced at the beginning of August. SSP300 In Race 1, declared wet race but with the track mostly dry, leader Mate Samado started from the pole position trying to set the pace. At his first race in the championship the Polish STK 1000 AA Champion Milan Pawelec took the lead in the first lap, ruling the manche and winning by a margin of 15 seconds ahead of the Hungarian. Third place for Praticia Sowa. Race 2 started as wet race. Again, Pawelec won ahead of Szamado and Sowa. A double second was enough for the Hungarian

Stock European Championship: Senna Agius and Daniel Muñoz take the title! The 2023 Moto2 European Championship, European Talent Cup and Stock European Championship were underway with the penultimate round of the season at the iconic MotorLand Aragon circuit in Spain. In the Moto2™ European Championship it was Senna Agius who flew to a mighty double, becoming the first Australian Champion in the class. In the European Talent Cup the title race is still on despite Maximo Quiles’ double. In the Stock European Championship Eric Fernandez beat Daniel Muñoz in a final lap belter, although 17-year-old Muñoz is the 2023 Champion. Moto2 Senna Agius went from pole to lead all of Race 1 although he was under early pressure from a fast-starting Yeray Ruiz, who jumped the start and only got to serve one of two Long Lap Penalties before falling at Turn 2; thankfully, he was OK. SSP 300 Women’s European Championship: poker for Beatriz Neila Santos The 2023 season of the Women's European Championship came to an end at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy. It was the perfect weekend for Beatriz Neila Santos (511 Racing Team), who took an amazing win at the end of a very tight race that was hard fought until the chequered flag. Thanks to a good advantage in the standings and this umpteenth success the Spanish rider conquered her fourth European title in a row. The reigning champion beat Sara Cabrini (Gradara Corse) in the final lap and the Italian was second at the finish line after fighting hard for victory and leading the race for a few laps.   Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Superfinale: Spain’s Gonzalo Sanchez is the 2023 R3 SuperFinale Winner 22 riders from seven different countries gave their all over the course of two fantastic races at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portugal, as they fought it out for the chance to win the ‘crown’ and a supported ride in next year’s Yamaha R3 bLUcRU European Championship. In Race 1 it was 15-year-old Sanchez who took command, pulling out a very impressive lead of over six seconds on the chasing pack. Behind him a large group of riders were in contention for the final two podium spots and a superb last lap from fellow Spaniard Natalia Rivera saw her take second place. Northern Talent Cup: Sessler takes crown by five points in nail-biting finish Final round of the Northern Talent Cup at Hockenheim, Germany. Race 1 As the Northern Talent Cup approached its crescendo at the mighty Hockenheim, all eyes were on the leading cup trio of Lenoxx Phommara (Team Phommara), Rocco Sessler (MCA Racing) and Julius Frellsen (MCA Racing), the three separated by just 20 points, and each with a shot at title glory with a total of 50 points on the table. Starting from pole Lenoxx Phommara took the holeshot and swiftly made a break from the chasing pack, followed closely by Maxime Schmid (Team Schmid). On lap 2 the Swiss made a lunge up the inside of the leader, only to misjudge the maneuver and slide off track and into the gravel trap. Yamaha R7 European Superfinale: Valentin Folger becomes the 2023 winner The second ever R7 SuperFinale saw two thrilling races at Motorland Aragon, Spain, for the 27 riders participating from all over the globe. The first race of the day had plenty of tense battles throughout the field, but pole-sitter Eric Molina was quick to stamp his authority during his second year at the SuperFinale. The Spaniard pulled a gap early on that proved insurmountable for his rivals after he extended the lead to 6.5 seconds. However, the chasing pack squabbled amongst themselves for the remainder of the unpredictable race. Folger kept it smooth and consistent to push his way into podium contention, and this strategy paid off for the German when he took second place at the chequered flag. Yamaha bLU cRU European Championship: Emiliano Ercolani crowned 2023 R3 bLU cRU champion in dramatic finale Italy’s Emiliano Ercolani became the Yamaha bLU cRU European Champion in Magny Cours, France, after a shocking series of twists and turns that saw him crash in both races. The day’s action got underway with Race 1, where six riders were still in contention for the crown. But drama is never far away in the class for upcoming talent and a crash early in the race saw three of those contenders - Aldi Mahendra, Ercolani, and Kevin Fontainha – down and out. The red flag was shown due to the debris and a rush ensued to get the bikes repaired and the riders back on track.
