European Supersport Cup 600: third round in Italy The third round of the European Supersport Cup 600 took place last weekend at Imola, Italy. Two riders raced in the Supersport World Championship race: Kyle SMITH from Great Britain and the Italian Fabio Massei started in ESS. Good performance for Smith, first of the category and 13th close to the top ten in the overall.

Vintage Endurance Cup: Round 1 in Le Castellet The first race for FIM Europe Vintage Endurance Cup was organised on 11th May at Paul Ricard race track, Le Castelet, near Marseille, in a totally brand-new year with a new promoter. The race was very professionally organised by French Federation and Paul Ricard staff for 44 teams and 60 bikes from 9 different nations: each team consists of two or three riders (depending of the strategy). Timed practices started on Friday while warm up was on Saturday at 2 pm. After one hour warm up was finished, teams could make final order which rider will start the race. The pole position was for Belgian Team Force, second position was for Phase One Endurance team from UK while the third place for Road Runner Team from Neatherlands. Supersport 300 Cup / Superstock 1000 Cup / Supermono Cup: the first round in Slovakia The first round of FIME Superstock 1000 Cup was raced this weekend at Slovakiaring, near Bratislava, Slovakia. The first part of the race saw the fight of Michal Filla and Michal Prasek, but in the battle, both crashed. Marek Szkopek crashed in turn 1 too, causing the red flag. In this way the winner of the first STK 1000 race was Arnold Friedrich from Germany. The Hungarian Mate Laczko was second and Dominik Juda, from the Czech Republic, third.   SSP 300 European Cup race was very interesting and competitive till the end. The winner was Mate Szamado from Hungary, followed by David Kuban (Czech Republic) and Roman Kucera from Slovakia.     The Supermono Cup starts this year’s competition with three races at Slovakia. CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup: Valencia thrills to the second round of the FIM CEV Repsol The second round of the FIM CEV Repsol this weekend at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia did not disappoint and provided some thrilling racing. Edgar Pons had a brilliant weekend in Valencia, dominating the qualifying practice sessions, setting the fastest lap time in the race, securing his first victory of the season and ending up as overall leader of the Moto2™ European Championship. The race was stopped after a multiple fall involving Niki Tuuli (Team Stylobike), Matteo Ferrari (Gresini Laglisse Academy) and Alessandro Zaccone (Promoracing), which was caused by a trail of oil left by Marcel Brenner's machine on the first lap. The Moto2™ race was restarted but without the injured Tuuli on the grid. Once again Pons took the lead followed by Héctor Garzó (CNS Motorsport). The two pulled away followed

European Supersport 600 Cup: second round at TT Assen Tough weekend for the European Supersport Cup 600 with the second round at TT Assen, in the Netherlands, together with the FIM Supersport World Championship. European Supersport Cup 600: the season starts in Spain The first round of the European Supersport Cup 600 was held this weekend at MotorLand Aragon, Spain. As part of the FIM Supersport World Championship, the ESSP 600 riders have dealt with strong adversaries, with an intriguing race in the first part of the 16-lap encounter, before a traditional fairing-bashing battle took place in the final part of the race. Good race for Kyle Smith (Team Pedercini Racing), who finished 9th receiving 7 points for the standing. Too bad for the French Xavier Navand (DK Motorsport) and Gaetan Matern (Flembbo Leader Team), crashed at the beginning of the race Next round of the ESSP 600 in on 14th April at TT Assen, the Netherlands.

CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship: the season starts at Estoril Circuit The 2019 FIM CEV Repsol season started this weekend at the Circuito do Estoril in Portugal. Niki Tuuli (Team Stylobike) took the win in the first Moto2™ race, which was affected by water on the track. Edgar Pons (Baiko Racing Team) took the lead from the pole, but just three laps later Yari Montella (Team Ciatti) passed the Baiko Racing Team rider to pull away, imposing a good pace and posting a series of fast laps. Niki Tuuli also passed Edgar Pons and worked hard to claw back the leading rider. However, everything changed with four laps to go when Montella went down, losing all hopes of a win. But things went from bad to worse for the Team Ciatti rider: after rejoining in fourth position he fell yet again and, in the end, pulled out of the race.

European Talent Cup: Series 2 The FIM CEV Repsol would like to announce that this season the European Talent Cup category will premiere the new Series 2 race series – the ETC S2. During the last three seasons, up to 50 riders have taken part in each edition of the European Talent Cup, with the current season being the most numerous to date: more than sixty riders representing 18 nationalities have confirmed their permanent registration to date. This level of participation has obliged the FIM CEV Repsol not only to call two practice groups in each of the events scheduled in the coming 2019 calendar (as happened previously on many occasions), but to offer an innovative option: riders who fail to classify during official practice will be able to take part on race Sunday in the new Series 2 race series of the European Talent Cup.
