CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup: time for MotorLand Aragon After a month on the side lines the Moto2™ European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup riders hit the ground at MotorLand Aragon for another double race day weekend. The undefeated streak was finally stopped in the Moto2™ ECh race 1 as Alessandro Zaccone (Promoracing) getting the better of Yari Montella (Team Ciatti – Speed Up) after a thrilling four-way scrap. An eventful encounter saw mistakes aplenty with Niki Tuuli (Team Stylobike) enjoying a long spell at the front while Keminth Kubo (VR46 Master Camp Team) kept himself in the mix for the podium with his entertaining and aggressive style. In the end, Zaccone held on with the fastest lap on the last lap, with Montella second for the first time this season while Tuuli won a photo finish with Kubo for the final spot on the podium. Northern Talent Cup: Görbe does the double ahead of a Hosciuc vs Heinrich photo finish at Hockenheim Race 1 Soma Görbe (HRE Team) took his second Northern Talent Cup victory of 2020 in Race 1 of Round 3 at Hockenheim, coming out on top in a wet weather duel against Jakub Gurecky (JRT of Automotodrom Brno). The race was delayed and then shortened to an eight-lap dash, with the two at the front escaping into the distance as points leader Freddie Heinrich (PrüstelGP Junior Team) won the battle for third to keep his perfect podium record intact.
Off the line it was Gurecky who took the holeshot ahead of Görbe, with Lorenz Luciano (Junior Black Knights Team) slotting into third. It was very much a case of carefully does it in the early stages as the riders tested out the conditions, but even by the end of Lap 1 there were

Mini Road Racing European Championship: thrilling weekend at Adria Raceway Last weekend, Adria International Raceway, Italy, hosted the Mini Moto Road Racing European Championship. The race, originally scheduled at Assen, in The Netherlands, on August 2nd has been postponed in September due to emergency situation of the Coronavirus outbreak, thanks to the big efforts of the FMI (the Italian Motorcycling Federation) and Moto Club CMV, which have welcomed this event with enthusiastic although the difficulties of the current situation. Young riders from 11 different European countries set the fight in nine different classes in a friendly atmosphere. Northern Talent Cup: round 2 in Lausitzring Second round for the Northern Talent Cup in Lausitzring, Germany, with one win for the Belgian Luciano Lorenz and for the Czech Jakub Gurecky. Race 1 Lorenz Luciano (Junior Black Knights Team) was the first to taste Lausitzring glory in Round 2 of the Northern Talent Cup, with the Belgian just pipping home hero and points leader Freddie Heinrich (PrüstelGP Junior Team) to the top step in Race 1 for his maiden win. JRT of Automotodrom Brno riders Jakub Gurecky and Jonas Kocourek duelled it out for third, with Gurecky coming out on top for a first NTC podium. It was Gurecky who took the holeshot from pole, with Soma Görbe (HRE Team) slotting into second ahead of Heinrich. Northern Talent Cup: the season started in Germany The first round of the Northern Talent Cup -promoted by Dorna Sports- was held on 7th-8th September in Oschersleben, Germany, as a part of the IDM Championship. Due to the recent development of the Covid-19 the event was held behind closed doors. 24 young riders fought for the first place in the overall standing leading directly to the Red Bull Rookies Cup. The German Freddie Heinrich took the victory in the first race, while the Hungarian Soma Gorbe won the second one. Thanks to the third place in race 2, Heinrich is now first in the standing. Women's European SS 300 Cup: third win in a row for Spanish Neila Santos Third round for the Women's European SS 300 Cup at Imola Circuit, Italy, together with the Italian Road Racing Championship. The championship is still at closed doors due to Covid-19 restrictions. For the Spanish rider Beatriz Neila Santos it was another amazing weekend: ruler of the first and the second round, she won also at Imola with an outstanding pace, crossing the chequered flag with 10’’ ahead of the Italian Sabrina Della Manna and Aurelia Cruciani. Out at the first lap Roberta Ponziani, who is still third in the standing. Neila Santos is always first in the standing and Della Manna second. Next round is on 18th October at Vallelunga Circuit, Italy.

CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup: round 3 and 4 at Jerez The championships returned to action in Jerez for a 2 race day after more than 6 weeks away from the track! In the Moto2™ European Championship, Yari Montella (Team Ciatti – Speed Up) once again showed that he was the class of the field, taking his 5th and 6th win. In the Hawkers European Talent Cup, David Alonso (Openbank Aspar Team) won the first HETC race, Marco Morelli (Talent Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) the second one, while Zonta Van Den Goorbergh (Team Superb) would take his maiden HETC victory, after falling short of the win due to track limits at Round 3. Round 3 - CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship Yari Montella ruled the roost once again in the Moto2™ ECh as the Italian would pull clear and win by 4.3 seconds. Supersport 300 Cup and Superstock 1000 Cup: the season started in Hungary Pictures: Matteo Cianciosi Last weekend Panonia Ring, Hungary, hosted the Alpe Adria Motorcycle Union with the first round of the Supersport 300 Cup and Superstock 1000 Cup, The event had been organised at short notice as a result of the disruption of the original calendar due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Never the less it was a very well planned and executed event with a total of 89 rider, with a changeable weather that made the weekend very demanding. In the Superstock 1000 Cup Mateo Laczko from Hungary won both the race on Saturday and Sunday, while the Swiss Florian Hüsler and the Slovenian David Bozic finished respectively second and third. The Supersport 300 class is relatively new, but it’s already becoming an important entry class for the young riders sharpening their skills before the head for the larger
