Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup: round 1 at Misano Circuit Photo credits Yamaha Racing The first ever round of the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup provided the crowd at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Italy, on 11th and 12th June with two thrilling races, as 27 young riders battled it out to open their championship account with a win. In race one it was Spanish rider Iker Garcia Abella who took victory ahead of Slovakian Maxim "Terminator" Repak and British rider Fenton Seabright.
In race two Repak and wild card rider, Matteo Vannucci, managed to break away from a chasing pack led by Giacomo "The Thunder" Mora in the closing stages. It was the Slovakian Repak who got the better of the Italian Vannucci to take the win, with Mora crossing the line to claim the final step on the podium. Visit our Road Racing page

CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup: Catalunya hosted round 3 Catalunya played to host a fantastic display right throughout the weekend for the CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup. Fermin Aldeguer (Boscoscuro Talent Team-Ciatti) was once again the dominant force in the Moto2™ European Championship as he raced into the distance winning both races and it was 15-year-old Xabi Zurutuza (Cuna de Campeones) that took the win in Hawkers European Talent Cup. In Moto2™ ECh it was business as usual for Aldeguer at the flag, but he did have some work to do! The 16-year-old was squeezed out at Turn 1 as Lukas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team) and Alonso Lopez (Boscosuro Talent Team-Ciatti) grabbed 1st and 2nd on the first lap. Aldeguer quickly set to work and picked them off to take the lead and from there, streaked away to a 7-second winning margin.

Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance European Cup: Varano hosted the first round On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May the Varano racetrack, Italy, hosted the first round of the third edition of the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance, the monobrand valid as European Cup and dedicated to couples of riders riding Moto Guzzi V7 III bikes. The event was behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 restrictions and well 31 team (62 riders) fought in both days. Pole position was taken by the Altinier Motorsport & Biker's Island team, while the second-best time went to VMS Benty 2 and the third to CheMoto! Rome. In race 1 the VMS Benty 2 team took the lead in the very early stages, leaving for a little while the first position to the Motoclub dei Rapaci team. Northern Talent Cup: second round at Oschersleben Race 1 Jakub Gurecky (JRT Brno Circuit) hammered home his wet weather mastery once again at Oschersleben, the Czech rider disappearing in Race 1 for another stunner of a victory out front in difficult conditions. Teammate Jonas Kocourek came home second in a JRT Brno Circuit 1-2, with Swiss rookie Lennoxx Phommara (Phommara Team) impressing in the wet once again to take his first Northern Talent Cup podium in third. From the start it was Gurecky in charge as he took the holeshot, with Lorenz Luciano (Junior Black Knights Team) initially able to go with him... but not for long. The number 81 had an early excursion on Lap 1 and, although he was able to re-join, that left Gurecky ahead of the game and Kocourek in second. Women's European SS 300 Cup: Spanish Beatriz Neila Santos rules in Misano  Second round of the Women's European SS 300 Cup at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Italy. The competition, still at closed doors due to the Covid-19 restrictions, saw the ladies fight until the last for the leadership. After the third position in the opening round at Mugello, Spanish Beatriz Neila Santos got the pole position, the best lap and the win too. This means two extra points for the championships standing. All rider performed an enthusiastic race from the first lap till the end with Neila Santos leading with some gaps also due to the crash of Roberta Ponziani, while she was fighting with the leading group. Jakub Gurecky (JRT Brno Circuit) was the rider just denied in second, with his teammate Jonas Kocourek taking a lonelier but commendable third as Round 1 Race 1 started wet and then dried out throughout the 15 laps. CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup: epic round 2 in Valencia The Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Cheste, Valencia, played host to a stunning Sunday of FIM CEV Repsol action with epic battles all the way through the day’s action-packed races. The Moto2™ ECh was just as intriguing, although a red flag also came out after the first few laps of the race for an accident involving Leon Orgis (Avintia Esponsorama Junior Team). CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup: thrilling season kicks off in Portugal First round of the season at the Circuito Estoril in Portugal with all races final lap fights. The Moto2™ ECh gave two thrilling races. Race 1 saw a major duel between Fermin Aldeguer and Alonso Lopez, as both battled hard and studied each other, whilst Lucas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team) watched on in third until a crash at Turn 7 – the German pole-sitter was ok. That left Lopez in the lead from Aldeguer until the final lap, where Aldeguer pounced at Turn 6, holding on to take victory. In third place was Adam Norrodin (Liqui Moly Intact SIC Racing Team), giving the Malaysian a career-first podium. Women's European SS 300 Cup: Italian and Spanish women ruled the first round The women European season went live with the first round of the Women's European SS 300 Cup at Mugello Circuit, in Tuscany, Italy. A thrilling weekend, still at closed doors due to the Covid-19 restrictions, with the ladies in fight with an impressive race pace. In Race1 great battle from the first lap up to last between 5 riders: the Italian Roberta Ponziani won the first heat in front of Sara Sanchez and the defending champion, the Spanish Neila Santos, after a technical problem forced Sabrina Della Manna to withdraw. Fourth position for the polewoman Alexandra Pelikanova. Race 2 of the Women's European SS 300 Cup was red flagged at next to last lap and the victory went to Sanchez, while Santos finished second and Ponziani third.
