Supersport 300 Women’s European Cup FIM Europe’s agreement with EMG Eventi and MotoxRacing MotoClub Left to right: Alessandro Sambuco, Sandro Carusi and Max De Simone On May 17th, at the General Secretariat in Fiumicino, an agreement with EMG Eventi and MotoxRacing MotoClub for the Supersport 300 Women’s European Cup was signed. The agreement extends until 2025 and provides for the title of Championship from 2023. Northern Talent Cup: Phommara and Moor win in Oschersleben After Le Mans challenge, the second round of the Northern Talent Cup was raced at Oschersleben, Germany. Race 1 Lennox Phommara (Phommara Team) has shown his wet weather prowess before in the Northern Talent Cup, and the Swiss rider did it again in a wet Race 1 at Oschersleben. Making his way to the lead and then pulling a gap, the number 48 held off a late race charge from Kilian Holzer (HK Racing) to take his first win. Behind what became a duel for victory, Rossi Moor (FAIRIUM Next Generation Riders Team) completed the podium. After a Red Flag, some false starts and a restart - that then didn’t feature Le Mans winner Kevin Farkas (Agria Racing Team) or Noa Cuypers (Junior Black Knights) - it was Tibor Varga (Forty Racing) who shot into the lead and pulled a huge gap.

Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup: second round in Spain Second round for the Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Spain. Moto2 The fight for victory in the Moto2™ was between Tulovic and Alex Escrig (Yamaha Philippines Stylobike) after Senna Agius (Promoracing) crashed out of the lead at Turn 12 in the early exchanges. Tulovic went on to win by 1.1s to extend his Championship lead, with the final podium place going to Xavi Cardelus (Promoracing) after a good scrap with Yeray Ruiz (FAU55 TEY Racing). Northern Talent Cup: the series started in Le Mans! Race1 Polesitter Rossi Moor (FAIRIUM Next Generation Riders Team) claimed the first victory of the season at the famous Le Mans Circuit as the Hungarian edged out Loris Veneman (TeamNL Open Line) by just 0.166s in a fascinating first encounter of the 2022 Northern Talent Cup. Rookie Matteo Masili (FAIRIUM Next Generation Riders Team) won the battle for the final podium spot despite starting from P9 following a three-place grid penalty.
As the lights went out it was Moor who managed to grab the holeshot before drama unfolded behind at Turn 3, with four riders crashing out – one of whom was Valentino Herrlich (Busch und Wagner Racing Team) who was later confirmed to have suffered a tibia fracture. Moto2 European Championship It was a busy day for the Moto2™ ECh, with both races disrupted by red flags. Race 1 first saw the red flag waved for Tommaso Marcon (MMR), after he collided with Roberto Garcia (SKX Cardoso Racing) going to Turn 1 on the first lap. On the restart, Lukas Tulovic pulled away from Senna Agius (Promoracing), before the red flag was waved again during the 12-lap restart. This time, for a crash involving Piotr Biesiekirski (Pertamina Mandalika SAG Euvic Racing Team) and Xavi Cardelus (Promoracing). Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Eropean Cup: round 2 at Assen It was a perfect weekend for Brazilian youngster Enzo Valentim, who doubled up in the second round of the 2022 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup at the TT Circuit Assen, picking up the maximum 50 points and leaving the Dutch venue on top of the standings. In Race 1, France’s Gregory Carbonnel and fellow Brazilian Kevin Fontainha joined Valentim on the podium, with his compatriot finishing runner-up in Race 2, in which Italy’s Andrea Pizzoli rounded out the top three. Women's European SS 300 Cup: round 2 in Spain Round 2 for the Women's European SS 300 Cup at Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. Despite the good weather conditions, a strong wind characterized all the sessions. As in the opening round at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy, Beatriz Neila Santos replicated the pole position confirming his determination at home circuit. In race 1 the Spanish rider immediately took the leadership, keeping the first position until the chequered flag. Behind her, with 7 second gap, her compatriot Sara Sanchez, who succeed to get the podium despite a small injury to the leg.
