Fifth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Kegums (Latvia)

On the beautiful track Zelat Zirgs in Kegums (Latvia) was held fifth round of European Quad Motocross Championship. After heavy rain over the night the conditions on the track were very hard. In first heat won Dutch rider No.11 Mike VAN GRINSVEN in front of Championship leader Jeremie WARNIA No. 62, who crashed on the start race and started to ride on last place. Over the end of the race he managed to the second place, third finished rider No.92 Olli KOSKELA from Finland. In second heat Jeremie WARNIA lead from the start to the end of the race, second finished No.11 Mike VAN GRINSVEN and third again No.92 Olli KOSKELA from Finland. The provisional rankings with two rounds to go see the strong leadership of Warnia with 242 points in front of Koskela with 167 points. Fourth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Kivioli (Estonia)

The fourth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC took place on a perfectly prepared track at an organizer with high knowledge in MX Sport. The weather was perfect and got still warmer on Sunday (up to 25°). The Qualifying practice was won by the Championship Leader, Jeremie Warnia, FFM on his DWT in front of Latvian Edgars Mengelis, Yamaha, 1.451 sec behind, and in a distance of 1.309 sec to Mengelis Mike van Grinsven, KNMV, got third. In the EMX Quad, Heat 1, holeshot went to Olli Koskela, SML, Yamaha. After lap 1 Edgar Mengelis was in the lead, Koskela 2nd and Warnia already in the 3rd position. After 6 laps Warnia could overtake Mengelis and could keep first position over the remaining 12 laps. Third round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Genk (Belgium)

The third round of the MAXXIS Quadcross European Championship was held this weekend in Genk (Horensbergdam) Belgium. The first heat was won by French Jeremie Warnia (DWT), followed by Dutch Joe Massen (Suzuki) and Mike van Grinsven (W-TEC), also from The Netherlands. In a very exciting second race, the Dutch Mike van Grindsven (W-TEC)was the best, in front of the two French riders Matthieu Ternunck (Yamaha) and Jeremie Warnia (DWT). Overall classification leader after six races is Jeremie Warnia with 145 points, second Mike van Grindsven with 116 points and third is Olli Koskela from Finland with 89 points. Second round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Varsseveld (The Netherlands)

The second round of the MAXXIS Quadcross European Championship was held this weekend in the Dutch track of Varsseveld. The French Jérémie Warnia (DWT) won both heats. In the first heat in front of Dutch Mike van Grinsven (W-TEC) and Belgian Jan Vlaeymans (W-TEC). In the second heat second position went to Vlaeymans and Latvian Edgars Mengelis (Yamaha). In the provisional rankings Warnia leads with 100 points in front of Mike van Grinsen with 71 points. The next round is scheduled next weekend the 22nd and 23rd of June in Genk (Belgium). Start of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Schwedt (Germany)

The first round of the MAXXIS Quadcross European Championship was held this weekend in Schwedt (Germany). On Saturday was heavy rain therefore qualifying practice was on Sunday morning instead of warm up. On Sunday weather conditions were good. The first race was won Jeremie WARNIA from France ,second was Mike Van GRINSVEN from the Netherlands and third was Olli KOSKELA from Finland. Second race won Jeremie WARNIA from France ,second was Mike van GRINSVEN from the Netherlands and third was Edgars MENGELIS from Latvia. After two races first is Jeremie WARNIA from France with 50 points, second Mike van GRINSVEN from the Netherlands with 44 points and third is Olli KOSKELA from Finland with 38 points. Quadcross and Sidecarcross of European Nations

The Quadcross and Sidecarcross of European Nations were held today in the Dutch track of Oss. In the Quad class team from France was the favourite with the actual European champion Jeremy Warnia, the European Champion 2009-10-11 Romain Couprie and Ternynck Mathieu. France won in front of the teams from Great Britain and Belgium. In the Sidecar class the top favorite and the local team from the Netherlands was the top favourite with the 10 times World Champion Daniel Willemsen with his passenger Bax Robbie, Vice World champion 2012 Bax Etienne together with Stupelis Kaspars and Willemsen Marcel/Eggink Gertie. The Dutch team managed to win in front of team Latvia and Great Britain. The medals were given by UEM vice president Martin de Graaf to the podium teams. (UEM Press Release 151/2012)

Final round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad EC in Kegums

The sixth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad European Championship was run this weekend in Kegums (Latvia). The 2012 European Champion title was already assigned in La Capelle Marival to Jeremie Warnia In race 1, best start for Estonian rider Halliko Andro. After 3 laps the new European Champion Jeremy Warnia took the leader position and finished first in front of the 18 years old Dutch rider Mike van Grinsven and ACU rider Paul Holmes. In race 2, best start for Warnia in front of van Grinsven. They finished on this position in front of Holmes who fought the whole race with Latvian rider Edgars Mengelis for the 3rd place. Warnia new European Champion of the MAXXIS EMX QUAD EC

The fifth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad European Championship was run this weekend in La Capelle Marival (France). The weather was rainy on Sunday morning, but later in the morning and afternoon it got better and the sun came partly back. In race 1, hole shot and Pole Position went to British Paul Holmes (Yamaha), just in front of the German Stefan Schreiber (KTM) and than the leader of this years Championship, Jeremie Warnia (CAN-AM). Netherlands top rider, Mike Van Grinsven (W.TEC), was only seventh after the first lap. In lap 5 Warnia could pass Schreiber and started his attacks on Holmes. But Holmes made a clever and very fast race with his best lap time in 1:49,577, which is an average speed of 52.6 km/h, and won heat 1 in front of the French Jeremie Warnia, 7.4 sec behind Holmes. Warnia confirms his strength at the MAXXIS EMX Quad round in Genk

The fourth round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad European Championship was run this weekend in Genk (Italy). Difficult weather conditions with heavy rain in the night from Saturday to Sunday caused difficult conditions on the track and in the paddock The French Jeremie Warnia (Can-Am) confirmed again his domination of the championship winning both heats. He now lead the provisional rankings with 190 points, 54 points ahead of British Paul Holmes (Yamaha). In race 1 Warnia was followed by Dutch rider Joe Maessen (Suzuki) and German Stefan Schreiver (KTM). In race 2, second position went to Schreiber and third to Latvian Karlis Meldrajs (KTM). Warnia dominates the MAXXIS EMX Quad round in S.Severino Marche

The third round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad European Championship was run this weekend in San Severino Marche (Italy). In race 1, best start for the local rider Nicola Montalbini (Honda) in front of Paul Holmes (Yamaha) and the championship leader Jeremy Warnia (Can-Am). Warnia passed Holmes after 10 minutes and than fought with Montabini for the victory. In the last corner Warnia passed and won in front of Montalbini and Holmes. 4th place for German Stefan Schreiber KTM). In race 2, best start for the young Italian rider Andrea Cesari Jr.(KTM) in front of Stefan Schreiber, Jeremie Warnia and Nicola Montalbini. Both Italian riders must stop the race because of technical problems. At the end it was again Warnia the winner in front of Schreiber and third place for the French rider Anthony Sousa Borges (Yamaha).
