Motocross European Championships: calendar updates

Motocross European Championships: calendar updates FIM Europe would like to inform of the updates to the provisional 2021 calendar of the Motocross Championships. Due to the current situation worldwide in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, the racing calendar will see the Championships kickstart later than originally planned, with the first Grand Prix scheduled for the 23rd of May in Oss, in the Netherlands. Furthermore, the GP of Italy, GP of Portugal and the GP of Germany will be moved from April/May to October. The goal for the 2021 season is to finally welcome back spectators and to be able to do so in a safe and responsible way certain changes had to be made following the current evolution of the pandemic.

2021 S4 European Supermoto Cup FIM Europe and XIEM are pleased to present the new S4 European Supermoto Cup, only on asphalt. Given the success of this category in some national championships, the Promoter together with the Sports Commission of the FIM Europe have decided to propose it in a European Cup that will be held over two races on the same weekends of the S2 European Championship: on May 23rd  in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Italy) and on June 27th  in Ortona (Italy) and that  will award the title of S4 European Supermoto Cup. Free Practice and Time Practice on Saturday and two races on Sunday will be the background at the SuperMoto World Championship. Once again FIM Europe has demonstrated that it is working together with the XIEM Promoter for greater promotion and development of Supermoto internationally. More information: www.supermotos1gp.com

2021 FIM CEV Repsol Regulations The FIM Europe and FIM have published the provisional technical rules that will regulate the 2021 FIM CEV Repsol. The regulations for the Moto2™ European Championship and Hawkers European Talent Cup are available here. For the purposes of simplicity and convenience/utility, these regulations include both specific sporting and technical rules for all the classes. Please, bear in mind that articles amended as from the 1st January 2021 are in bold green type. Enduro European Championship new promoter and calendar

Maxim is the new promoter of the Enduro European Championship The Italian promoter will organize the European Championship for the seasons 2022-2023-2024 FIM Europe and Maxim are pleased to announce the new agreement for the promotion of the Enduro European Championship for the seasons 2022-2023-2024. The company led by Tony and Monica Mori, based in Falzè di Piave (Treviso-Italy), will enhance and develop the championship starting from this new season with four rounds: the opening stage in Italy (Pietramontecorvino) on 19-20 March, round two in Hungary (Tamasi) on 2-3 April, round three on 13-14 August in Finland (Sipoo) and the final stage in Germany on 28-29-30 October. Maxim is a company founded in 2010 to support Axiver in the management of the Enduro Italian Championship, whose promoter was Tony Mori for 22 seasons, from 2000 to 2021. Individual Ice Speedway European Championship On Sunday 13th December the Individual Ice Speedway European Championship took place at the beautiful new Arena Lodowa in Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland. The race, originally scheduled on March, has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak and yesterday was raced behind closed doors following to the Covid-19 governments restrictions, but live broadcast on NC+. Excellent ice conditions enabled very competitive racing with the Russian Dmitrii Solyannikov who got the title in a hard-fought night race. Russian riders confirmed their dominant position in this discipline in a duel of 17 riders from eight different countries. The Individual Ice Speedway European Championship will be held on December 13 at 4.30 pm in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland, and the competition will be live broadcast by nSport.
