European 85cc and 125cc Youth Speedway Cup The city of Vissenbjerg, Denmark, hosted the single event of the European 85cc Youth Speedway Cup. Danish dominance with three Danish riders who ruled the race ahead of German rider Janek Konzack, who crashed losing the opportunity to get the podium. Final classification 1. Mikkel Andersen, DEN 2. EMX Women's European Championship: Lynn Valk wins in Sweden Despite the good weather of the practices, race1 and race2 of the EMX Women's European Championship has been characterized by heavy rain. In the first heat overtaking were very rare: after a good start Lynn Valk won with her Husquarna. Unfortunately, the second heat was cancelled due to the a very severe thunderstorm. Enduro European Championship: ready for the second round All is set for the second round of the European Enduro Championship with the second round in the Czech Republic after three and a half months: the KP Enduro Club has pitched its tents in Kozojedy (- Obecní Úřad), about 70 km west of Prague. Three and a half laps on 55 km long track each day, which add up to almost 200 km off-road for the riders. The course includes a cross test as well as an enduro test and an extreme test to be completed in the round. Over 120 riders have signed up for this. The Italian riders Enrico Rinaldi and Diego Niccoletti are the favourites, as they are currently ahead of all other participants in the championship standings. But in their Czech homeland, both junior Kristof Kouble and his compatriot Jaromir Romancik should certainly not be underestimated. The start

European races of the weekend 07-08/08/2021

EMX 250 European Championship and EMX 2T European Championship: Fantic Factory Team Maddii riders Lapucci and Spies win in Lommel European races in Lommel saw another successful day for Fantic Factory Team Maddii riders Nicholas Lapucci and Maximilian Spies as the pair were victorious in the EMX250 and EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing categories and went on to extend their championship leads. EMX250 In the first EMX250 race of the day, it was Lapucci who took the holeshot and was closely followed by SM Action YUASA Battery Racing Team’s Kevin Horgmo as a few riders got caught out after the first corner. Lapucci then led Horgmo, Cornelius Toendel of Riley Racing as well as Jorgen-Matthias Talviku of No Fear/Jumbo BT Racing and Dave Kooiker of Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing. Meanwhile Horgmo was not letting Lapucci run away with it as he set the fastest lap time of the race and was keeping close with the Fantic rider. European U23 Team Speedway Championship: SF1 First race for the European U23 Team Speedway Championship with the Semi Final 1 in Brokstedt, Germany. The meeting was postponed by half an hour due to the rain, but the organisers got the track in to a very good condition after two days of heavy rain. Team Denmark managed to fend of the local favourites Team Germany in fiercely fought battle that lasted to the final heat. There was only one point between those two teams before the heat no. 20. Team Great Britain was third and the very young team Netherlands fourth scoring one point. Semi Final 2 and Final will be held in the next weeks. Final classification: 1. Denmark, 47 points 2. Women's European SS 300 Cup: fourth round in Misano Fourth round for the Women's European SS 300 Cup at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Italy, in a thrilling night event in the background of the Pink Week of Riviera di Rimini. The first night pole of the history has been taken by Neil Santos Beatriz, securing an extra point on the general standing: the Spanish rider won with the fastest lap and completed the hat trick for the weekend. Neila Santos showed a strong pace to finish 7 second clear to the group. Second place for Sara Sanchez in a duel with Roberta Ponziani, third on the podium. Motocross of European Nations postponed to 2022 The FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing regrets to inform that this year’s FIM-Europe Motocross of European Nations will not go ahead as originally planned and will be postponed to 2022 at a venue To Be Announced. The 2021 edition of the MXoEN was due to take place in Riola Sardo, Italy later this season, though with the current situation, the tough decision was made to push back the event by a year. The unique event welcomes some of the best talents from all over Europe, as riders from each country battle for pride and glory for their nation. In 2019, the race saw Team Italy defend their 2018 title as they became champions once again, meanwhile in the WMX division it was Team Holland who went on to take their first WMXoEN victory in Gdansk, Poland!
