European Motoball in France (Day 6)

The European Motoball Championship finished with the victory of Russia on France and with the third place of Germany, while the Junior Final between Russia and Germany saw the German Team as the new European Junior Champion. Junior-Final 14:00 - Russia – Germany 2:3 In a very tight match Germany won 2:3. At the beginning the German team scored quickly, but Russia replied with the 1:1 just one minute later. In the second Quarter Germany went in front again, but Russia was fighting back and scored the 2:2 for the draw. In the last Quarter Germany was a bit stronger and scored the 3rd goal which decided the match for their colors. After the victory in 2016 in the Netherlands, Germany won also the European Junior Motoball Tournament 2017 in France. Congratulations to Russia for Silver and to France for Bronze. European Motoball in France (Day 5)

The European Motoball Games are going on in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In Day5, on Monday July 31st, five matches were held. The Junior Teams of Russia and Germany won their matches against France today and went into the Final, which will start today at 14.00 at Camaret. As for the Senior class, the first participant of the 2017 European Motoball Final is Russia. In a tight, high level match, Russia had the longer breath under the hot sun in Camaret. So Germany will take part to the match for the 3rd place, missing the Final for the first time since many years of presence. After the match of 19.30, the 2017 Final of the European Motoball Championship is complete: Russia and France will play the Final on August 1st 2017 at 20:30 in Camaret while Belarus and Germany will contend the third position in the match which will

European Motoball in France (Day 4)

The European Motoball Games are going on in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In Day4, on Sunday July 30th, seven matches were held. All photos © Ray 11th Senior-Game 11:00 - The Netherlands – Ukraine 13:2 The Netherlands won their first and only match against Ukraine. On the asphalt ground in the Stadium of Camaret, the Dutch Team was too fast for Ukraine. In this reason it was a clear result for the Orange team, but Ukraine also scored twice. 1st Junior-Game 13:00 - France – Russia 3:3 After the common breakfast and the friendly handshake the Junior matches started. Both Franch and Russian Teams were playing a technically excellent Motoball with nice combinations and perfect scores. Stocksport 300 European Cup and Supermono at Pannoniaring (Hungary)

The fourth of five rounds of the Stocksport 300 European Cup and the second of five rounds of European Supermono Cup were held at Pannoniaring, Hungary. Stocksport 300 Cup (photo1) The qualifying practice was very smooth, and no crashes were registered. Polish rider Daniel Blin snatched the pole position, almost one second faster than Czech Schwarz. Race1 was the first of of the season without hard fight at the top, in fact the winner, Daniel Blin, had over 12 seconds of advantage of Vojtech Schwarz, who finished in second position in front of Peter Kacaba from Slovakia and Gyor Balint from Hungary. Ondrej Schwarz’s was the only of the race. In Race2 Blin won again, this time with 15 seconds advantage on Vojtech Schwarz. European Motoball in France (Day 3)

The European Motoball Games are going on in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In Day3 four matches were held: Germany-Ukraine, Belarus-The Netherlands, Russia-Ukraine and France-Belarus. 7th Game 15:00 - Germany – Ukraine 10:0 Finally the Ukraine Team arrived in Valreas (they had a delay due to Visa issues and their first race – expected on Friday - was rescheduled on Sunday). Ukraine played the first match against Germany and they did well in the first Quarter. After that Germany started to score and the game ended with a clear 10:0 for Germany. European U21 Team Speedway Championship SF 1 at Daugavpils (Latvia)

The SF1 of the European U21 Team Speedway Championship has been held at Daugavpils, in Latvia, in front of around 2.500 spectators. Consistent rain prevented the practice, which was postponed twice and at the end - at 15:30 - cancelled. At the same time the rain stopped and the Jury and all team managers decided that after some track preparation the meeting could start. After the first heat Ukraine was leading, followed by Latvia, Sweden and Russia with no points. European Motoball in France (Day 2)

The European Motoball Games are going on in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In Day 2 three matches were held Russia-Belarus, Germany-Belarus and France-Germany. The match between The Netherlands and Ukraine was postponed to Sunday July 30th at 11 am since some players of the Ukraine team had problems with the Visa and did not arrive in time. “I want to thank the Dutch team for their understanding and cooperation”, commented Thomas Staudt, Jury President of the European Motoball Championship 2017 and vice-president of the FIM Europe Motoball Commission. “Since the match was moved we decided to reschedule the time of the match between Germany and Belarus to 17:30”. European Motoball in France (Day 1)

The European Motoball games started in Cameret and Valreas, in France. In the first day, the Referee Meeting was held at 10:00 in Cameret. Pascale Reschko Jacquot, Chairwoman of FIM Europe Motoball Commission and André Cast (Clerk of the Course) welcomed the 6 participating Nations: Belarus, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Russia and Ukraine. André Cast made a detailed presentation of the rules which changed from last year. All photos © Ray 1st Game 15:00 - Russia – The Netherlands 11:0 Russia was showing its strength and the Netherlands tried to fight back. After the 1st Quarter the score was 2:0 and at the half time already 5:0. Finally the Russian Team scored 6 times more and won clearly. Road Race Hill Climb European Championship at Le Petit Abergement (France)

The fourth of five rounds of the Road Race Hill Climb European Championship was held at Le Petit Abergement, in France in front of around 1.300 spectators. The weather was cloudy on Saturday, sunny and warm on Sunday, In the qualification heat the Supersport class leader, Francesco Curinga, had a bad crash, but luckly without consequences. In the Superbike class there was a very interesting fight between Stefano Bonetti (I) and Jean-Luc David (F). In each race the gap between these two riders was about 0,1 sec. (in both races the fastest was Bonetti). At the end of the event in France three riders have already conquered the European title: Stefano Bonetti in Superbike, Francesco Curinga in Supersport and Andrea Majola in Supermoto. The three riders are all Italians. The last title, in 250GP, will be assigned in the next round, on August 27th, at Spoleto, in Italy. Full results on FIM Europe website:
