Track Racing European Individual Grass Track Championship at Hertingen (Germany)

The picturesque town of Hertingen in the South of Germany hosted the 2017 European Individual Grass Track Final, with the event producing some very spectacular and close racing throughout Saturday evening. The 3,000 spectators who attended the event were treated to a number of ‘wheel to wheel’ races with riders not giving a centimetre during the 12 qualify heats. Once all the points had been totalled, the field of the top 16 point scoring riders were allocated to the three (C, B and A) Finals. With two ‘last chance’ places available for the winner and seconded place riders (in the B Final), to qualify through to the all-important A Final, racing was again extremely competitive with Edward Kennet (ACU) and home German rider Christian Hurlshorst (DMSB) finally managing to gain these two important places. European IPT Quad Championship at Stelpe (Latvia)

The third round of the EMX ITP Quad European Championship took place in Stelpe (Latvia) this weekend, on a well prepared track. In day1, with around 33 degrees the riders carried out sessions of free practice and one of qualifying practice. The pole position for Sunday’s races went to Kevin Saar from Estonia in front of Jani Tanhuanpaa from Finland and Christopher Tveraen from Norway. Today in Stelpe it was sunny or cloudy, with 22 degrees. The organizers had once again prepared well the track and the day started with the warm up. In the first race in the afternoon the fastest rider was poleman Kevin Saar from Estonia, followed by Domantas Waznys, from Lithuania and from Christopher Tveraen from Norway. In the second race Kevin Saar was again the fastest rider, while the second place went to Jani Tanhuanpaa from Finland ahead of Domantas Waznys from Lithuania. The overall

European Under 19 Individual Speedway Cup at Divisov (Czech Republic)

The European U19 Individual Speedway Cup was held at Divisov, in Czech Republic, in a cloudy, windy day after the heavy rain of the day before. Over 200 spectators watched very interesting races among 18 very young riders from 10 different Countries. The racing was very tight in the whole meeting and the riders fought also with a bit tricky track, with a lot of deep ruts. After 21 heats, in the Final heat the winner was the Brit Robert Lambert, in front of Filip Hjelmland, from Sweden, of Bartosz Smektala from Poland and of Michael Haertel from Germany. Robert Lambert managed to snatch victory in all 6 his heats. It was the first meeting after a few years when the riders under 19 competed for the FIM Europe Cup.

European Individual Grass Track Championship Final at Hertingen (Germany) - Preview

European top solo Grass Track riders head to the picturesque town of Hertingen in the South of Germany this weekend for Saturday’s staging of the FIM Europe Individual Grass Track Final, where one of the eighteen racers will be crowned 2017 European Champion. Photos @Youthstream - The first overall race finishes to be decided at the Fiat Professional MXGP of Belgium were those of EMX300 Presented by FMF Racing and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing. Over two days of racing GL12 Racing’s Mike Kras and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Mikkel Harrup came out ahead of the rest winning their respective classes. EMX125 At the beginning of the weekend the 125cc class had 74 racers entered and only 40 making it through qualifying. Saturday’s Race 1 started with BUD Racing Monster Energy’s Brian Strubhart Moreau leading Gianluca Facchetti and Alessandro Manucci but on the third lap mistakes took all of them out of the top 3. The one rider who didn’t have any costly errors was Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Mikkel Haarup who moved into the lead on lap 4 and stayed in the top spot the remainder of the race to

European Enduro Cup at Orebro (Sweden)

The European Enduro Cup was held at Orebro, in Sweden. The race is also called Battle of Vikings and the winner of this edition was Mario Roman from Spain, who gained a wide margin. Joakim Ljunggren (Sweden) was second and Magnus Thor (Sweden) finished in third place. All riders seem happy with their results in the toughest battle ever - only 35 riders managed to make one lap or more, and more then 100 riders did not finish before the maximum time elapsed. “I'm very happy with the track, I didn't have one sad moment on this track”, stated Mario commentinghis win. “The organisers did a fantastic job. Trial European Championship, Women, Over 40 and Junior Cup at Lazzate (Italy) – Day 2

Spanish Arnau Farrè (Gas Gas, photo1) clinched the 26th European title in the European Trial history. The Junior Cup went to Italian Manuel Copetti (Vertigo) and the Over 40 Cup to German Markus Kipp (TRS). And this means that we did not have any surprises in this last round of the 2017 FIM Europe Championship, held in Lazzate, Italy. Indeed, all the leaders in the 3 different classes got their final prize.
