After the cancellation of the round of the SM Junior and S3 classes in Sosnova, an experimental double race weekend was made for the first time in the European Supermoto Championship. The weather was hot and there were around 1.000 spectators. The two days event hosted the standard free practices and qualifying, but also 2 heats per day scoring points for FIM Europe. The venue at Kjustendil, Bulgaria, is an all asphalt facility and the good weather contributed to the nice 2 days of Supermoto racing.
