EMX 125 European Championship 2T and EMX 2T European Championship: Kras and Guadagnini top two-stroke European racing in Lombardia The rippers of FIM Europe made two stroke music for the thousands of motocross fans present in Mantova this weekend. Through two days of racing the conditions can only be definable as polar opposite with the lone ambiguous adjective being challenging. The younger and smaller cc two stroke of EMX 125 Presented by FMF Racing also dealt with the same challenging conditions as even the MXGP and MX2 riders. In a class that is one of the most difficult to be consistent in even with perfect conditions Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna’s Mattia Guadagnini did the seemingly impossible with double race wins. Vintage Regularity Cup: Round 1 in Slovakia The first round of the Vintage Regularity Cup was held on May 1st in Slovakia with the organization of the Classic Club Hlohovec. Slovakiaring welcame 59 riders and 15 sidecars with 4 different races and 6 classifications in 2 rounds. The free practice at Wednesday evening was with wet conditions, but qualifying and races were with good weather. The winners: Class EC A1 – Kamenar Lubomir Class EC A2 – Schmidt Kvetoslav Class EC B – Talaga Otakar Class EC C – Bezouska Jakub Class EC D – Kupka Radoslav Class EC E Side – Chmelar Petr

EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South West zone and EMX Women's European Championship: Cardineau, Russi and Van Der Vlist the winner The city of Vesoul, France, hosted on 04th-05th May a thrilling cross weekend. During the pre-qualifications it started raining and it became colder: in the afternoon started snowing and it was necessary to stop racing because of too much water on the track. On EMX 65 the French Cardineau Felix was first in front of the Spanish Perez Salvador and another French rider Pigois Basile. In EMX 85 two Italians on top: Lata Valerio in front of Russi Matteo. The women’s class was led by the experienced Stephanie Laier in front of the Danish Dam Line and Dutch Valk Lynn. On Sunday morning the track was very wet and muddy. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North East zone and EMX Open European Championship: round 1 in Ukraine City of Kovel, Ukraine, hosted the first round of the Motocross European Chamionship NW zone with good weather on Saturday, but rain and cold on Sunday. Race 1 EMX 65 class saw a nice battle between winner of this race Marius Adomaitis from Lithuania and second Ricards Alens Galcins from Latvia. Third position for the Estonian Gregor Kuusk. In Race 1 EMX 85 class ruled the Latvian young talent Edvards Bidzans. Second was another latvian rider Kirils Maslovs and third Aleh Makhnou from Belarusia. Martin Michek from Czech Republic won the EMX Open class in front of home rider Roman Morozov and another Czech Peter Michalec. Race 2 were more difficult due to the heavy rain. SEC Speedway European Championship: Qualifying Round 4 in Slovenia Over 1.500 spectators enjoyed an exciting day at the sunny MatijaGubec stadium. Russian Grigoriy Laguta was the undisputed winner of the qualifying round 4 at the Matija Gubecstadium in Krško, Slovenia. Behind him the Polish Kacper Woryna, second, and the Russian Sergej Logatchev, third. The top three is qualified to the Euro Challenge meeting in Hungary. Expectedly, Matic Ivačič was the best Slovenian rider and with his final fifth place he still has some hope of being called to the Euro Challenge as a reserve. Following Matic’ great heats, was his club teammate, Denis Štojs who ended up in 11th place with 7 points and showed great performance amongst a tough international competition from 12 different countries. SEC Speedway European Championship: Qualifying Round 3 in Ukraine QR3 was held on 2nd May in Rivne, Ukraine. The original date was the 1st May, but due to the heavy rain and the bad track conditions, Tuesday’s practice was canceled. Unfortunately, also one race was canceled, because of the wet track, not suitable for a race. Thanks to the good conditions, on Thursday the race took place with no other delay. Supersport 300 Cup / Superstock 1000 Cup / Supermono Cup: the first round in Slovakia The first round of FIME Superstock 1000 Cup was raced this weekend at Slovakiaring, near Bratislava, Slovakia. The first part of the race saw the fight of Michal Filla and Michal Prasek, but in the battle, both crashed. Marek Szkopek crashed in turn 1 too, causing the red flag. In this way the winner of the first STK 1000 race was Arnold Friedrich from Germany. The Hungarian Mate Laczko was second and Dominik Juda, from the Czech Republic, third.   SSP 300 European Cup race was very interesting and competitive till the end. The winner was Mate Szamado from Hungary, followed by David Kuban (Czech Republic) and Roman Kucera from Slovakia.     The Supermono Cup starts this year’s competition with three races at Slovakia.
