Mini Enduro Cup: France hosted the second event

Mini Enduro Cup: the season got underway in Italy After the success of the first round in Italy at the end of May, Mini Enduro Cup was back to action for the second exciting round. The town of Monteils, in France, hosted the race thanks to the impeccable organization of the Motoclub des 2 Vallées. More than 70 talented young riders competed on technical and exciting courses, demonstrating skill and passion for this discipline. Two special tests: one Cross Test of 1,5 km and one Enduro Test of about 2 minutes. The race loop was 20 km long and characterized by a series of climbs and descents, as well as rocky single tracks inside forests. The track included a single time control located near the paddock. Day 1 In the 125 Mini class, the Frenchman Emerick Vergote took the victory ahead of Italian rider Gioele Scibilia by 21 seconds. Third on

FIM Europe Magazine #02 2024 is now online with a Special Supplement! The FIM Europe is glad to announce that the new FIM Europe Magazine issue #02 is now online with a Special Supplement! Issue #02 starts with a tribute to Wolfgang Srb and Peter Hansen, who sadly passed away in the last months. The Magazine continues with a review of the current sporting activities as all Championships and Cups are at the height of the season. Some Champions have already been crowned, such as in the Team Speedway European Championship, the Under19 Pairs Speedway Championship, the Snowcross European Championship, the EMX Women’ European Championship, the Hard Enduro Cup and the S4 Championship. The Special Supplement celebrates the 28th edition of the FIM Europe Congress. The FIM Europe family met from Thursday 04th to Saturday 7th July in Fiumicino for three days of fruitful meetings. Northern Talent Cup: Kitzbichler and Van Crugten take a win each at the Sachsenring The Northern Talent Cup headed to the Sachsenring for the fifth round of the season. Another exhilarating weekend of racing action from Northern Europe’s fastest young talents. Race 1 In a 15-lap race in wet conditions, Tobias Kitzbichler took his second victory of the season on Saturday in Race 1 at the Sachsenring as he comprehensively blitzed the competition, finishing more than seven seconds ahead of rivals Antione Nativi (Racing Nativi Team) and Tom Rolin (Junior Black Knights). 

Saturday's race 1 was delayed by more than an hour due to severe rain, but when the lights went out the sky was clear. Into the first corner, it was Belgian Rolin who took the holeshot ahead of his rivals. European 250cc Youth Speedway Championship: Maksymillian Pawelczak claims 2024 title It was a tense weekend of twists, turns and action as competitors in the 2024 European 250cc Youth Speedway Championship set the action for the SemiFinal1, SemiFinal2 and the Final of the series at Perenyi Pal Salakmotor Stadion, Debrecen, in Hungary. SF1 The meeting was run on a well-prepared and nicely watered track during a very hot and sunny day thanks to the excellent work by the track staff. The regular heats were completed within two hours, with the track holding up well. British rider William Cairns claimed victory and qualified for the Finals with a flawless performance collecting 15 points. P2 for Villads Pedersen from Denmark, while third on the podium was local hero Zoltan Lovas. A tough race with different heat winners in very close racing gave in the end a spectacular Final, which fired up the audience. Second at last year’s Final in Germany, this time Chris Harris made it! In the final the British rider went as sixth rider into the first corner and came out as first, winning the event and claiming the 2024 title. Second step of the podium for the Dutch Dave Meijerink and third for the German rider Lukas Fienhage. SSP 300 Women's European Championship: Rivera and Sowa victorious at Brno The third round of the SSP 300 Women's European Championship concluded at the Brno Circuit after a weekend of high-octane action. The race weekend got underway with two free practice sessions on Friday, in which Natalia Resel Rivera set the fastest time (2’21”245). She was followed by Polish rider Patrycja Sowa and Italian Josephine Bruno. Rounding out the top five but almost a second behind were Denise Dal Zotto and Silvia Comincioli. Saturday morning brought the two qualifying sessions and Race 1. During the morning’s first session, Rivera proved to be the fastest on track (2’21”471) and in qualifying 2 none of the front group was able to improve further, with the starting positions confirmed and Rivera therefore in pole position. The 28th edition of the FIM Europe Congress has officially ended with the third and last day of meetings at the Hilton Rome Airport in Fiumicino. In the morning, the FIM Europe Management Council met for the second time in view of the General Assembly, which took place in the afternoon in the presence of the representatives of 37 National Federations. The Ordinary Assembly started at 2 pm with the official opening by FIM Europe President Mr Michal Sikora and the welcome of FMI President Mr Giovanni Copioli. FIM Europe Congress 2024 Day 2 A full day of work in Fiumicino. The FIM Europe Management Council met for the first time in the morning, the Sporting and Beyond Sporting Commissions held the mid-season summit, while in the afternoon took place the FIM Europe Policy Conference on motorcycle activities. The FIM Europe Congress keeps on with the second day of meetings. After yesterday’s Sporting and Beyond Sporting Councils’ meetings, this morning the Management Council met in the presence of FIM President Mr Jorge Viegas.
