EMX65 and EMX85 NW Qualification round in Aufenau (Germany)

The second round of the North West qualification leg of the EMX 65cc and EMX 85cc was held in Wächtersbach / Aufenau (Germany). On a very difficult track the four races was run, and in the first race EMX 85cc number one was Roan van de Moosdijk The Netherlands, with Jorge Prado Garcia (Spain) on the second place and number three was Adam Einarsson (Sweden). In second race was Jorge Prado Garcia (Spain) the fastest rider, Roan van de Moosdijk (The Netherlands) number two, and on the third place came Gianlucca Fachetti (Italy) In the first race in the EMX 65cc class was the fastest rider Rasmus Pedersen (Denmark) on the second place Max Pålsson (Sweden), and on the third place Noel Nielsson (Sweden). Third round of the EMX125 Motocross EC in Valkenswaard (The Netherlands)

Tackling the territory of the EMX125’s latest dominant force, Red Bull KTM Racing’s Davy Pootjes proved to be tough this weekend as the youngsters lined up here in the sand of Valkenswaard for round three of the European Championship EMX125. With a full gate of screaming two-strokes, the gates dropped for race two and the ‘play-to-win’ mentality set in. After Rockstar Energy Suzuki Europe’s Brian Hsu went down hard on the start straight, only a few turns later there was even more carnage when at least six riders went down in a pile. One of which was yesterday’s runner up, Diga Racing’s Tomass Sileika who managed to dust himself off but was so far back, he couldn’t salvage a top twenty finish. Start of the EMX150 Motocross EC in Valkenswaard (The Netherlands)

The EMX150cc Motocross European Championship started today in the Dutch track of Valkenswaard. Jere Haavisto collected the overall win in Valkenswaard after a thrilling second race that went right to the wire. Race one victor and local wildcard Rick Elzinga pushed the flying-Fin all the way but was forced to settle for second, while Matias Murto made it back-to-back third place finishes. Second round EMX65cc NE, EMX85cc SW in Paroldo (Italy)

The second round of the South Western qualification leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 (after the cancellation for rain of the first round in Castelnau de Levis) was held in Paroldo (Italy). In the first race of 85cc. Class the San Marino rider n. 319 Andrea Zanotti in TM, beginning in the four position and in the middle of the race took the first position until the finish line. In second place was the Italy rider n. 357 Manuele Ulivi and the third place the French rider n. 214 Maurice Chanton. In the second race the winner was the Italian rider nr. 250 Lugana Paolo in KTM that took the place at six lap until the final. EMX65cc NE, EMX85cc NE and EMXOpen in Orlyonok (Russia)

The first round of the North Eastern qualification leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 and the first round of the EMX Open Motocross European Championship were held this weekend in Orlyonok (Russia). In the EMX65 class only one heat was held with the winner Russian Maksim Kasatkin (KTM). In the EMX85cc class with two victories Russian Timur Petrashin managed to win the overall rankings of the day. In the EMX Open the winner of the first heat was Russian Semen Rogozin, while in the second race winner was Belarussian Evgeni Tyletski. Overall winner of the day was Rogozin with 45 points. EMX65cc EMX85cc South-West Europe in Castelanu-de-Levis (France)

The first round of the South Western leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship was to held this weekend in Castelnau-de-Levis (France). The first race of the 85 cc class was stopped with the red flag because many riders fell in a slope and stayed stuck in the mud. It was impossible to ride in several places of the track. The first aid workers could not walk and move on the track it was too slippery and muddy. The track was too dangerous. The Jury decided that all races in 85 cc and 65 cc classes are cancelled for security reasons. The first race of the 85 cc class was stopped with the red flag 10.08 minutes after the start. According to the FIM Europe rules, the half of the race time was not made. As a result there is no classification for this event. Next round of

Start EMX65cc EMX85cc South-East Europe in Troyan (Bulgaria)

Today was the first round of the South Eastern leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 Motocross European Championship held in Troyan (Bulgaria). There were present 19 riders to EMX 85 and 18 riders to EMX 65. The weather condition was very good therefore races very safe and interesting. The first heat of the EMX85 was won by rider from Bulgaria HALMI Hakan, second was DIMITROV Alex and third was IVANOV Momchil both from Bulgary. Second race was won again HALMI Hakan, second was DIMITROV Alex, and third was IVANOV Momchil all were from Bulgarian. Overall first place to HALMI Hakan 50 pts, 2nd place DIMITROV Alex 44 pts, 3rd place IVANOV Momchil 40 pts. In the EMX65 class, the first race was won CUHARCIUC Igor from Moldava, second was KOVACS Adam from Hungary ,and third was rider from Moldava TIMUS Nicolai. Start of the North-Western EMX65 and EMX85 in Korskro Banen (Denmark)

The first rounds of the North_Western leg of the EMX65 and EMX85 European Championships were held this weekend in Korskro Banen (Denmark) Holeshot of EMX65 heat 1 went to Matti Jorgensen, Denmark. Best starts and in leading positions after lap 1 have been Kay Karssemakers, NED, Rasmus Pedersen, DEN, 3rd Noel Nilsson, SWE, than Sem de Lange, NED, and Constantin Piller, GER. At the end of heat 1 the Danish Rasmus Pedersen won this first heat and hat overtaken the first position already in lap 3. Indeed the best rider in this heat! Silver/ 2nd place went to Karssemakers and Bronze/3rd position to Max Palsson, SWE, who was in the first lap only in 9th position! Holeshot went to Swedish Max Palsson in the heat 2. Best starts and in leading positions after lap 1 Palsson in front of Rasmus Pedersen and Noel Nilsson, then Constantin Piller, Varg and Hess.

EMX125, EMX250 and EMX300 in Sevlievo (Bulgaria)

The famous Bulgarian motocross track of Sevlievo was the host of the first round of the European Motocross Championship for classes EMX250 and EMX300 in 2014 season and the second round for class EMX125. As usual in Bulgaria the track was greatly prepared and all the riders were eager to race, only that the weather had something different in mind: Friday and early Saturday the rain came down on the track making it challenging. Nevertheless, riders gathered from all-over Europe put the hammer down and completed practices and qualifying despite the weather. First race of EMX125 saw Tomass Sileika (KTM) managing to get in front of Germen Brian Hsu (Suzuki) and of Dutch Davy Pootjes (KTM) trying to open up a gap. Start of the 2014 EMX 125cc in Arco di Trento (Italy)

The first round of the EMX 125cc Motocross European Championship was held today in the Italian track of Arco di Trento. Slicing through the crisp air of Arco di Trento, forty young riders had their two-stroke 125cc machines singing as they went for gold at round one of the European EMX125 championship. Following in the footsteps of Dutch motocross hero FIM MX2 World Champion Jeffrey Herlings, another Dutch prodigy Red Bull KTM Racing’s Davy Pootjes proved to be on another level here in Arco di Trento, dominating both races to take his first perfect score of the season.
