EMX125 European Championship: Doensen rises above to get victorious at Maggiora The hilly circuit of Maggiora Park welcomed the EMX125 European Championship for their seventh round of the 2024 campaign and that offered the public a great show. Due to the race direction decision, the EMX125 got cancelled and we were spoiled with an intense one-race round. It was Racestore KTM Factory Racing’s Gyan Doensen who lit up the race and completely control the race to get on the top step of the podium and come back closer in the championship behind Fantic Factory Racing EMX125’s Noel Zanocz. What a great start from TM moto SteelsDrJack‘s Brandon Rispoli leading Gyan Doensen, his teammate Nicolò Alvisi and Tom Brunet from Jezyk Racing Team after the first corners. EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship: South West and South East Zone - Semi Final Pictures copyright: Marius Dincă (Romanian Motorcycling Federation) The first Semi Final of the EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship was hosted by Romania with the flawless organization of the Romanian Motorcycle Federation. Zărnești welcomed the best riders of the South West and South East Zone: the traditional Romanian motocross track was well prepared by the Jitsu Zărnești Club for the youngsters of South Europe, who were ready to chase the dream of qualifying to the prestigious Loket Final that will be held in July. EMX85 Italian rider Andrea Uccellini (Husqvarna) from SW zone managed to win both races. In Race 1 he started from P3 going after two French riders: Kenzo Ferez (KTM), who was leading, and SW zone leader Leo Diss-Fenard (KTM) in second place. EMX125 and EMX250 European Championship: Valk and Zanocz come out victorious at Kegums The sand track of Kegums, Latvia, hosted the sixth round of the EMX125 and EMX250 European Championship. The challenging Latvian track that has been modified for the occasion and surrounded by forests, made it for a thrilling show for both classes with some exciting and challenging racing across the board. The EMX250 sees Gabriel SS24 KTM'S Cas Valk getting on the top step of the podium at Kegums with a 1-3 while it was the red plate Fantic Factory Racing EMX125’s Noel Zanocz who climbed back up on the top step of the box.   EMX250 The start of Race 1 was dominated by VRT Yamaha Racing’s Ivano Van Erp who burst off the starting line to take the lead, closely followed by his teammate and local star, Karlis Reisulis. EMX250 European Championship: Valin wins the German round The fifth round of the EMX250 European Championship in Teutschenthal was an eventful one in the deep ruts of the German track that challenged every rider to pull off incredible skills to come out on top. It was the EMX250 red plate, Bud Racing Kawasaki’s Mathis Valin who was the winner of the day after showing a lot of composure with solid racing throughout the weekend and good determination. Race 1 In Race 1, it was VRT Yamaha Racing’s Karlis Reisulis who managed the Holeshot just in front of Beddini GASGAS Factory Juniors’s Valerio Lata. The Italian then managed to get in front after a couple of corners. The new red plate Mathis Valin could have made a better start as he found himself 6th but charged quickly to get behind Valk in 4th at the end of the opening lap. EMX65 / EMX85 and EMX Women' European Championship: the last rounds set the game for the Semi-Final challenges Triple action for the EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship with exciting races for the South East, South West and North Europe zone.   After the races in Bulgaria and Türkiye, the third and last round of the EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship South East zone took place in Bosnia Herzegovina, in the town of Kreševo, about 40 km from the capital Sarajevo. A weekend with heavy rain put the very young riders to the test with mud and cold weather. EMX85 Zone leader Sami Alexandru Dumitru (KTM) put into place another masterpiece with a double perfect win. The young Romanian rider outclassed the concurrence under the rain of the first heat, completing the weekend winning also Race 2 despite a crash during the first lap. EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship: Central Europe Zone and South East zone Thrilling weekend for the EMX65 / EMX85 European Championship with the third round of the Central Europe Zone and the second of the South East zone. After the first event in Denmark and the second in the Netherlands, the city of Reutlingen, Germany, hosted the third and last round of the Central Europe Zone. On Sunday, more than 60 riders were at the start for the final round of this zone, after a heavy-rainy Saturday. EMX65 / EMX85 European EMX85 Absent in the Netherlands, Victor Leppala (KTM) was back in action and set an amazing double win. In Race 1 the Belgian rider ruled from the start to the end, while current leader Hyden Statt (KTM) had to settle with P3. Second position for Danish rider Bertram Thorius (Yamaha). Race 2 saw an intense battle for the first positions.

EMX125 European Championship: solid Mancini gets his second overall win The 4th Round of the EMX125 European Championship in Lugo, Galicia showed all the intensity of European rounds. The races throughout the Saturday and Sunday were really competitive and displayed many twists in a thrilling racing weekend. It was Fantic Factory Racing EMX125’s Simone Mancini who proved to be the best in Lugo with a 2-2 to win his second overall of the season as he showed a lot of composure and consistency! The first race of the EMX125 European Championship began with a chaotic start, as multiple riders collided in the first turn, setting the stage for an action-packed event. Dex Kooiker from De Baets Yamaha MX-Team seized the early lead, closely pursued by Salvador Perez of RFME GASGAS MXJunior Team. The last time that the Polish city had an European race was in 2011: after almost 15 years, more than 100 riders faced two hot days with thrilling fights. EMX85 2023 Champion Lucas Leok (Husqvarna) ruled both races with determination. EMX125 European Championship and EMX 250 European Championship: first win of the season for Valk and Doensen in rainy Portugal The EMX125 European Championship and EMX 250 European Championship races at Agueda, Portugal, happened in very tough conditions for the young riders who had to focus hard and showed great skills to stay on the bike with ruts deepening as the races went on. This Portuguese test gave the opportunity to riders to show their resilience and skills to stay unscathed throughout the weekend. At this game it was the perfect weekend of Gabriel SS24 KTM’s Cas Valk who showed great speed and control to go 1-1 while in EMX125, it was a celebrated first career win for Gyan Doensen from Racestore KTM Factory Rookies Team.
