Second day of the Enduro European Championship in Uhlirske Janovice (Czech Republic)

At the second day at the European Enduro-Championship in Uhlirske Janovice you have had nearly the same winners in the overall. The Italian Maurizio Micheluz won – but this time in front of his countryman Andrea Beconi, who was third on Saturday. Now on position three a totally unknown rider: The German Andreas Beier, who is only a guest and this for had to start in the back of the field. That means that the KTM-rider had to overtake a lot of slower riders, starting just in front of him! Overall champion Maurizio Micheluz (Suzuki) won the E1-class too – this on second position the German Edward Hübner (Yamaha), while the Portuguese Luis Oliveira (Yamaha) became third. At the third competition of the Enduro-European-Championship in Uhlirske Janovice / CZ the Italian Maurizio Micheluz won the overall in front of his country people Gianluca Martini an Andrea Beconi. – For this three different classes and three different brand of bikes (Suzuki, Beta, Yamaha) are on the top position! Overall winner Maurizio Micheluz (Suzuk) won with a huge gap also the E1-class in front of the Portuguese Luis Oliveira (Yamaha) and the German Edward Hübner (Yamaha). The overall-second Martini won the E3-class too – in front of his countrymen Jacopo Cerutti (TM) and Mirko Gritti (KTM). The third in the overall, Beconi (Yamaha), won the E2-class in front of the british rider Jamie Lewis (Honda) and the Frenchman Romain Dumontier (Yamaha). Allready at place 6 in the overall the first Junior was Nicolas Pellegrinelli (KTM): Pellegrinelli won the Junior E1 with the smaller displacement engines. Second in this class

Introduction to the 3rd round of the Enduro EC in Czech Republic

The European Enduro Championship is going to the next round: on the 24th and 25th of August starts the third heat of the championship in Uhlirske Janovice (Czech Republic). Daily three laps with three special-tests are waiting for the riders in the hills and forest only 60 km southeast from Prague. More than 180 competitors from 17 (!) different countries already registered. In the championship the Italian Maurizio Micheluz is leading in front of the English Tom Sagar. Enduro European Championship arrives in France!

The second round of the Enduro European Championship will be held from the 8th to the 9th of June in Bar-sur-Seine, a beautiful small commune in the Aube department in north-central France in the Champagne-Ardenne region. 160 riders, representing 14 European countries, registered to this important event in the E1 Junior, E2+3 Junior, U 20, E1 Senior, E2 Senior, E3 Senior, Veteran, Women classes. Each day they will be required to complete three laps of a special ring specifically designed by the organisers, plus three additional special tests. (UEM Press Release 57/2013)

Opening of the Enduro European Championship

The 2013 Enduro European Championship will start on the 27th and 28th of April in Bussi sul Tirino (Italy). Since today the organisers received registration entries by 182 riders, among whom 10 for the FIM Europe Cup 50 cc., 10 for the Women and, for the first time, 2 Ukrainian riders. The Enduro Commission chairman, Marco Bolzonello, expressed great satisfaction for the high number of registration, in particular among Junior riders. The organisers, thanks to the support of the promoter Wolfgang Butzner and of the Tourism Office of the Pescara province, did their best to guarantee the success of the event, which presents an extremely competitive track that was defined by the former world champion Mario Rinaldi, after a detailed inspection, as worthy for an European level event. UEM-FIM Europe Snowmobile Cup in Karstula

The first ever UEM-FIM Europe Snowmobile Cup were held this weekend in Karstula (Finland). The organizer did a fantastic job with tracks and everything around and there was about 1000 spectators. The race run in perfect weather conditions, -20 to -5 degrees and a sunny sky. Track was almost perfect 40-50 cm af snow and ice, the track was about 130km and was used for one lap on friday race and 1 1/2 lap on Saturday for a total length of the race for about 300 kms. In total 7 special stages with real battles in all classes before the winners could take the checkered flag.
