The sixth an last round of the Dragbike European Championship was held in Santa Pod (Great Britain). The numbers of entered riders in Top Fuel Bike is 7, Super Twin 9 and in Pro Stock Bike 9. Super Street Bike 21. A new European record in Super Street Bike by Dave Holland, UK. Both low ET and top speed 7,259/199,88mph. Dragbike EC Weekend in Tierp

The fifth round of the Dragbike European Championship was held from the 23rd to the 26th of August in Tierp (Sweden). The winners of the three classes are the following: Top Fuel Bike: Peter Svensson (SWE, Billet Racing) Super Twin: Svein Olav Rolfstad (NOR, Supertwin) Pro Stock Bike: Fredrik Fredlund (FIN, Suzuki) In the provisional rankings the leaders are British Ian King (Top Fuel Bike), Canadian Nate Gagnon (Super Twin) and Finnish Fredrik Fredlund (Pro Stock Bike). Next and final round of the Dragbike European Championship will be held on the 9th of September in Santa Pod (Great Britain).

Super Street Bike Dragbike EC in Kundamaras

The fourth round of the Super Street Bike Dragbike class was held from the 18th to the 20th of August in Kundamaras (Hungary). Winner of the race was Richard Stubbins ACU, and Runner up was Graham Balchin ACU. New ET European record set in 7.5084 sec. by Grahan Balchin ACU. Fourth round of Dragbike EC in Hockenheim

The fourth round of the Dragbike European Championship was held from the 10th to the 12th of August in Hockenheim (Germany). In the Super Street Bike class (UEM-Cup), after the three qualifications passes Sotiris Tsakiris (GR) was number one with an 8,386 pass. Graham Balchin had the fastest top speed of 297,08 km/h. Winner was Richard Stubbins (UK), runner up Sotris Tsakiris (GR) who become the first Greek in a UEM-final. Third round of Dragbike European Championship in Tierp

The third round of the Dragbike European Championship was held from the 5th to the 8th of July in Tierp (Sweden). A good weekend of racing up until Sunday evening when heavy rain hit the track forcing the organizers to cancel the event. All UEM Drag Bike classes competed up to the semi-final stage. In the Top Fuel Bike class, victory went to Finnish Kai Selamaa (Puma Yamaha), in the Super Twing class to Finnish Petri Mattson (V60) and in the Pro Stock Bike to the Finnish Fredrik Fredlund (Suzuki). Fredlund set a new European Elapsed Time Record of 7.074 seconds. Next round of the Dragbike European Championship will be held from the 10th to the 12th of August in Hockenheim (Germany). Second round of Dragbike EC in Tierp

The second round of the Dragbike European Championship was held yesterday in Tierp (Sweden). In the Top Fuel Bike victory by Swedish Peter Svensson (Billet Racing) who also set the new ET European Record in 5.923 sec. Swedish Per Bengtsson (Bentec) was the winner of the Super Twin class, setting the new TS European Record at 360,00 km/h. The Pro Stock Bike class was won by Swedish Ulf Ogge (Buell). The Super Street Bike class was cancelled Sunday afternoon due to bad weather conditions. Next round of the Dragbike European Championship will be held on the 8th of July in Alastaro (Finland). Start of the Drag Bike EC in Santa Pod

The Dragbike European Championship started last weekend in Santa Pod (Great Britain). In the Top Fuel Bike class, the winner was British Ian King (Puma Yamaha), followed by Swedish Richard Gustafsson (Suzuki) and Swedish Nils Lagerlof (Suzuki). In the Super Twin class, Canadian Nate Gagnon (Weekend Nitro) won the race in front of Dutch Job Heezen (Zodiac) and Finnish Samu Kemppainen (Carpino). The Pro Stock Bike class was won by Swedish Kalle Lyren, followed by Swedish Ulf Ogge (Buell) and Finnish Fredrik Fredlund (Suzuki). In the Super Street bike British podium with Graham Balchin (Kawasaki) in first position, Chris Reed (Suzuki) in second and Richard Stubbins (Suzuki) in third. New rules of the Drag Racing EC

UEM Vice-President, Mr Ted Bartlett, together with the Road Racing and Drag Racing Commission Chairman, Mr Ap Ruitenbeek, met recently with Mr Keith Bartlett the CEO of the Trakbak Racing, official rights owner and promoter of the UEM Drag Racing European Championship, and its Commercial Manager, Mr Geoff Myers, to define the last details of the 2012 European Championship. In particular, it was decided as follows: Top Fuel Since their removal from the Top Fuel class in 2011 teams from the Funny Bike class have been in regular contact and discussion with representatives of Trakbak Racing with a view to the return of Funny Bikes to the Top Fuel class. After a long period of consultation the following changes to the Top Fuel class rules have now been agreed by Trakbak Racing and the UEM.
