MX of European Nations and Women's Motocross of European Nations: Team Italy and Team Netherlands victorious in Poland for the MXOEN and WMXOEN The 2019 Motocross of European Nations has concluded at the Gdansk circuit here in Poland. Team Italy rode their way to victory as they defended their title once again, and in the women’s category, Team Netherlands finally took that all important victory! The weather in Poland was a mixture of rain and sunshine, as riders battled it out in all weather and track conditions for pride and glory for their country. A total of six races took place this weekend starting off with the Women’s Motocross of European Nations and finishing off with the EMX125/250 race, with the EMX85 in between. Each group rode a total of two races, as they fought for the highest positions, in order to take the least amount of point, with the worst result not being counted. Motocross of European

Sidecarcross of European Nations and Quadcross of European Nations On 05th-06th October the MC Schwedt circuit in Germany hosted the Sidecarcross of European Nations and Quadcross of European Nations. Quad MX Race 1 (Group A + B) Going into the first race of the day, the question everybody had on their mind was whether or not anybody could stop Team USA, as they were by far the quickest riders out on circuit throughout the duration of Saturday’s qualifying events. That question was soon to be answered because as the gate dropped for the first race of the day, it was Team Netherlands’ rider #7 Joe Maessen who got the best launch. Maessen made an excellent getaway but it wasn’t long before Team USA’s #2 rider Thomas Brown got the better of Maessen and led the race coming across the line for the first time. Sidecarcross of European Nations and Quadcross of European Nations: qualifying Top teams shine as Belgium and Holland claim the best sidecar starts, and the USA rules in Quads Situated North-East of Berlin, and very close to the border with Poland, the Schwedt circuit in Germany offered the perfect venue for this annual team competition, attracting the very best sidecar and quad motocross racers in the world. The fight for grid places was therefore every bit as fiercely contested as any individual qualifying session. Whilst the air was cold, the overnight rain had passed, with the track in good condition. There was a sense of high drama in the air ahead of this gripping team event. A handsome entry list of over thirty-six crews was divided into three classes (A/B/C), but split into just two groups for free practice. 2019 Motocross of European Nations Entry Lists FIM Europe and Youthstream are happy to release the entry lists for the FIM Europe’s 2019 Motocross of European Nations and the Women’s Motocross of European Nations held this weekend on the 5th and 6th of October in Gdansk, Poland! This will be the third consecutive year that Poland will host the MXoEN, following the success of the previous events. And this weekend is set to be even better, with record breaking entries, the competition is set to be fierce. 2018 winners, Italy, will once again return to defend both the MXoEN and the WMXoEN titles, while others will be hoping to get their shot at the top step of the podium and one of those teams being the ladies USA squad, who will be making the trip across the world to join us for the very first time for the Motocross of

European Supersport Cup 600: Kyle Smith wins the 2019 FIM Europe Supersport Cup Kyle Smith (Team Pedercini Racing) was able to clinch the 2019 FIM Europe Supersport Cup title at Circuit de Nevers Magny Cours in France following a year of intense battle in the ever-competitive series. 2019 had a positive start for Smith that at the first round of the season in Aragón was able to finish inside the top ten, crossing the line in ninth position. But after a strong beginning, the British rider had to experience more difficulties when he headed to The Netherlands seven days later. With the severe weather conditions and the cold temperatures at the TT Circuit Assen, Smith had a tough weekend, and after having qualified sixteenth on the grid, he crashed out in the race while he was fighting for points. Home hero Paweł Przedpełski impressed the crowd with a phenomenal start, which gave him three heat wins. Grigorii Laguta started this meeting from “zero”, but three heat wins let the Russian rider go through to the race-off, where he was third. In case of Mikkel Michelsen's win in the final, title would be decided in an additional heat: that’s exactly what happened. Michelsen came as first, having Madsen and Przedpełski behind his back.
