CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup: Valencia crown the European champions Last round of the CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup at Ricardo Tormo Circuit, in Valencia, Spain. A thrilling weekend for the FIM Europe with the special presence of FIM Europe President Mr Martin de Graaff. Mr Martin de Graaff, FIM Europe President “The last CEV Repsol races were wonderful. Many riders participate in the fight for the last points until the last. A huge group of 59 riders showed up in the European Talent Cup, so practicing and racing in two groups was necessary. In the Moto2 the number of riders was 30 and they give us nice races. The weekend ended very well. Second session of Sporting Commission Meetings in Fiumicino, Italy The FIM Europe Commission Meetings continued today with the second session of Sporting Commissions, which followed the first session of Sporting Commissions in October and which will be followed by the Management Council in December and the Non-Sporting Commissions next January. In Fiumicino were present the first Deputy President Michal Sikora, the Secretary General Alessandro Sambuco and Paola Bianchetti, responsible for sport matters in the office. During these meetings many important proposals were discussed such as good number of future organizers for our events or possibility to continue with internet coverage for Motoball EC. Snowcross European Championship heads to Finland in 2020 FIM Europe and Youthstream are delighted to announced that the FIM European Championship will head to Finland in 2020. The event will take place on 4th April in Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland in the northern part of Finland. Rovaniemi is situated just 6 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle and while it is most famous for being the hometown of Santa Claus, in March 2020 it will host the biggest Snowcross event of the year as there will be not only the European Championship but also the FIM Snowcross World Championship and the Women’s World Cup. The capital of the Czech Republic will host the 26th FIM Europe Congress from 9th to 11th July 2020 in the Corinthia Hotel, with panoramic views across Prague and multi-functional meeting spaces. For the Gala dinner, that will sign the closing of the Congress, has been chosen Palace Žofín, neo–renaissance building located in the heart of Prague on the romantic and scenic Slovansky island. FIM Europe and Yamaha launch R3 bLU cRU FIM European Cup for young road racer   FIM Europe and Yamaha Motor Europe are pleased to announce the launch of a new road race series aimed at providing a path to the world stage for young riders. The Yamaha R3 bLU cRU FIM European Cup, a collaboration between Yamaha, FIM Europe and Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO) supported by JiR (Japan Italy Racing), will be contested across eight races at the European rounds of the 2020 FIM Superbike World Championship and will be open to riders aged between 12 and 15 years. The Yamaha R3 bLU cRU FIM European Cup has been designed as the ideal first step for young riders with world championship aspirations. First session of Sporting Commission Meetings in Fiumicino, Italy In the first session of the meeting with the Sporting Commissions many items were discussed. The meetings took place in Fiumicino (Rome) and almost all commission members were present. In two weeks the other three sporting commissions will have their meetings. Present were the FIM Europe President Martin de Graaff, the first Deputy President Michal  Sikora, the Secretary General Alessandro Sambuco and Paola Bianchetti, responsible for sport matters in the office.
