The last seasonal Management Council meeting took place yesterday 11th December in the brand new headquarter of FIM Europe in Fiumicino (Rome), after the official grand opening of Monday evening. At the end of a year full of events, President Mr Martin De Graaff dealt with the Management Council several sporting and non sporting issues, touching base on the ended season and defining the new lines in view of the next one. FIM Europe celebrates the grand opening of its new office   After 20 amazing years of growth, starting from the headquarters of via Giulio Romano in Rome, FIM Europe has moved to a new and bigger office space in a premium business complex near Fiumicino Airport. The grand opening celebration took place yesterday evening with an auspicious ceremony and was marked by the presence of esteemed guests including FIM President Mr Jorge Viegas and international guests, welcomed by FIM Europe President Mr Martin De Graaff and the Secretary General Mr Alessandro Sambuco. The new location is in the heart of business and travelling life, surrounded by a mall center and Fiumicino Airport facilities: the office is less then 10 minutes close to the airport, easily accessible by train or shuttle service. Superneduro Cup: the season starts in Poland  First round of the Superenduro Cup in Krakow, Poland. At Tauron Arena in front of over 14.000 spectators Thor Magnus won the first round of the season ruling both the shots. An incredible starting for the Swedish, who now is first in the standing with 40 points. Behind him the Slovenian Spindler Miha finished second with a second position in race1 and the third in race2. Third position both in race and in the championship for the Italian Sonny Goggia. Now a little break for the Christmas holiday: the next round is on 4th January in Rieza, Germany.

The Yamaha R3 bLU cRU FIM European Cup is a collaboration between FIM Europe, Yamaha and Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO) supported by JiR (Japan Italy Racing) and it will be contested across eight races at the European rounds of the 2020 FIM Superbike World Championship and will be open to riders aged between 12 and 15 years.

Motocross of European Nations heads to Riola Sardo in 2020! The FIM Europe and Youthstream are pleased to announce that the FIM Europe’s Motocross of European Nations will head to Italy in 2020. The event is set to take place on 11th October in Riola Sardo, Sardinia. The venue is situated in the large Italian island of Sardinia, close to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It has become well known amongst the riders of MXGP as it's one of the favorite venues of many World Championship riders’ pre-season preparation. In 2019 it was Team Italy who were victorious once again as they went on to defend their title as they scored the least amount of points (44) closely followed by Team Spain in second (45 points) and Czech Republic in third (57 points). Vintage Hill Climb meeting in Cheb On Saturday, 15th of November meeting with riders and organisers of 2019 FIM E Vintage Hill Climb Championship was organised in Cheb, Czech Republic. A day has started with meeting with organisers. At the meeting 2019 season was discussed and rules for 2020 were drafted. The calendar for 2020 will be as it was agreed at the Vintage Commission in autumn meeting at Fiumicino: - 20.06.2020. – Julbach, Austria - 12.07.2020. – Munster, France - 01.08.2020. – Lückendorf, Germany There is a possibility for additional date in Switzerland if an agreement with organizer will be finished, but not later than 1st of December 2019. At all events the format of the race will be that at Saturday and Sunday it will be one practise and two heats of which better result will count for championship points.
