FIM Europe General Secretariat New Office Opening: the official video is on line FIM Europe is glad to inform that the official video of the FIM Europe General Secretariat new office grand opening celebration is now on line. After 20 amazing years of growth, starting from the headquarters of via Giulio Romano in Rome, FIM Europe has moved to a new and bigger office space in a premium business complex near Fiumicino Airport. The new location is in the heart of business and travelling life, surrounded by a mall center and Fiumicino Airport facilities: the office is less then 10 minutes close to the airport, easily accessible by train or shuttle service. EMX125 European Championship round of Spain venue announced! FIM Europe and Youthstream are very pleased to announce that the brand-new venue of intu Xanadú in Arroyomolinos (Comunidad de Madrid) will host the second round of the EMX125 European Championship on the 18th-19th April 2020! After a one-year break from the calendar, the Spanish Grand Prix will be back for the next three seasons, and this season will head to the hard pack track at intu Xanadú, located just 22km from the center of Madrid. This will be the first time that the European Championship will land in Madrid and that has been made possible thanks to the support offered by the Community of Madrid, the Vice Ministry of Sports, the Royal Spanish Motorcycle Federation and the Madrid Motorcycle Federation. FIM Europe Non-Sporting Commissions Meetings in Fiumicino, Italy After the Sporting Commissions Meetings of October and November, on Saturday 18th January the FIM Europe Non-Sporting Commissions Meetings was held in Fiumicino, Italy, at the presence of the FIM Europe President Mr. Martin de Graaff, the Secretary General Mr. Alessandro Sambuco and the 2nd Deputy President Mr. Silvio Manicardi. Also present Silvia Monatti and Andrea Diamantini, responsible for non-sporting matters in the office. Many topics were discussed by the Non-Sporting Commissions: the Environment Commission chaired by Mr. Adamo Leonzio, the Touring Commission chaired by Mr. Nils Freivalds, the Public Affairs Commission chaired by Mr. Dimitris Margaritis and the Marketing, Promotion & Industry Commission chaired by Mr. Blagoja Petrovski. Superenduro Cup: second round in Germany The first European race of the year is the second round of the Superenduro Cup. The race took place in Riesa, Germany, at Sachsen Arena in front of 6.000 spectators with a challenging track with a tough “pyramid” made of big logs, a big jump over the tunnel and a big stony section. The time of the track was approximately 1 minute. In the first final the Swedish Magnus Thor took an early lead and could win comfortable without being stressed by the other riders. The second heat saw more fights and was won by the Italian Sonny Goggia. The next round is on February 1st in Budapest, Hungary. FIM Europe presents the Women's European Cup FIM Europe is proud to announce the new born Women's European Cup, reserved to women only with 300cc bikes and Dunlop tyres. This championship has the patronage of the Italian Federation and it is organized by EMG Eventi e Moto X Racing, well known as creator of the Yamaha R1 Cup and Dunlop Cup. The Trophy responds to the need to fill a gap: a track competition for an increasingly and competitive women's movement and represents the last step of a path born from the creation in 2019 of "LetyXRacing", the first Italian women's school by Letizia Marchetti (FIM certified), EMG Eventi and Moto X Racing.
