European U21 Team Speedway Championship: Poland gets the title! The city of Lodz, Poland, hosted the one-day event of the European U21 Team Speedway Championship. Despite the early morning rain, the conditions for racing were very good and the young riders presented great skills. The team Poland ruled from the beginning and only Danish riders were able to score 3:3 result in the last heat, which was the best one of the day. These points resulted in a tie between Denmark and Latvia in the classification. In the race-off Mads Hansen, who lost the start, kept chasing Olegs MIhailovs and passed him before the finish to win silver medals for Denmark. Final classification: 1. Poland 2. Denmark 3. Latvia

European 125cc Youth Track Racing Cup: Adam Bednář victorious in the Czech Republic Single event for the European 125cc Youth Track Racing Cup in Plezen, Czech Republic. The meeting was raced on a wet track due to the heavy rain of the night but thanks to the excellent work of the club there were no setbacks. Great performance for the Czech Adam Bednář, who ruled the event conquering the European title. Second position for the Polish Maksymilian Pawelczak and third for Vojtech Šachl: the Czech was the bes tone, but due to a mistake in the final heat he finished third. Final classification: 1. Hill Climb European Championship: the first round in Italy

Hill Climb European Championship: the first round in Italy Spoleto-Forca di Cerro, Italy, was the first round of the 2020 Hill Climb European Championship, raced with high temperatures and strong heat. Day 1 In 250GP class Loris Guerrini won Race 1 ahead of actual Champion Guido Testoni for just 0,22 seconds, while in Race 2 Guido finished first and Loris second. At the end of the day overall victory for Testoni. In SSP600 class double win for Maurizio Bottalico ahead of Daniele Stolli. Great show in the SuperMoto Open class with the battle between the Italian Alexander Ponzellini and the French Steven Bellavoine, finally second. In Superbike class Stefano Bonetti won ahead of Amalric Blanc, second, and Salvatore Sallustro, third. Day 2 In 250GP class Testoni won again ahead of Guerrini, both faster than day 1. 2020 EMX Championships Update Following the big success of the Latvian stops of EMX and the support received, EMX continues to look forward to more epic races this season and therefore FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing would like to reveal the most recent updates to the 2020 EMX Championships racing calendar. Following the evolution of COVID-19 restrictions and the difficulty of travel, the decision has been made to postpone to 2021 the GP of Turkey in Afyonkarahisar, originally scheduled on the 5-6th of September. Instead, following the success of the Latvian triple-header, the European Championships will anticipate the event in Faenza, Italy, for three epic Grand Prix races with the MXGP of Italy on the 5-6th of September, the MXGP of Città di Faenza on the 8-9th September and the MXGP of Emilia Romagna on 12-13th September. EMX 250 and EMX Open European Championship: Benistant and Savaste win the third round in Kegums The EM250 and EMX Open races have concluded rounds four and three of the European Championships here in Kegums, Latvia, that saw Thibault Benistant of Hutten Mataal Yamaha Racing take his third consecutive overall victory in the EMX250 class, meanwhile in EMX Open it was Kim Savaste of 137 Motorsport who stood on the top step of the podium. In the opening EMX250 race it was Meico Vettik who was flying out of the gate become the early race leader. The meeting was raced on a wet track, but despite the bad weather conditions there were no problems thanks to the excellent work of the club staff. FIM Europe Enduro & Rally Commission News It’s with great regret that FIM Europe and the Enduro & Rally Commission have to announce the cancellation of the Tout Terrain Rally event in Romania scheduled on September 13th. This is a tough decision taken by the promoters and the organizers, following the increasing epidemic situation of Covid-19 in Romania and the numerous travel restrictions to enter and depart from the country. All the incoming riders should have to go quarantine for 14 days when entering in Romania and then again when returning to their country. The events in Greece and Portugal are still confirmed: click here to go directly to the 2020 calendars. FIM Europe's priority is the total protection of the riders, organizers, public and all the staff involved in the events.
