EMX 125 and EMX 250 European Championship: Benistat claims the title in the EMX 250 class! The European Championship have concluded another race day in Lommel, Belgium, this time for the round of Limburg. It was a special day for Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Thibault Benistant who clinched the EMX250 title in style with a race win in the second heat, and an overall victory. This gave the Frenchman the best opportunity to celebrate his gold plate on the top of the box as he claimed his sixth-round win of the season. Meanwhile in the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing category, Andrea Bonacorsi of Fantic Racing edged closer to his maiden EMX title, as a race win helped him maintain a healthy 38-point advantage on David Braceras of RFM GasGas MX Junior Team, who celebrated his first overall podium victory with a 1-2 result, keeping the championship chase alive. European Pairs Speedway Championship: Poland wins the title Terenzano, Italy, hosted on Saturday 17th October the final round of the European Pairs Speedway Championship. It was an exciting event with a lot of close racing and several passes, especially in the first half of the meeting, despite the tricky conditions due the rain of the previous days. Pre-meeting favourite team Poland met the expectation with their two top rider Jamrog Jakub and Victor Trofimov, who were always in control for the top spot of the podium. Second place for the Latvians thanks to a brilliant display of former European Champion Andzejs Lebedevs. He was one of the most entertaining riders of the meeting and scored 17 points not all from the start. Women's European SS 300 Cup: Della Manna wins the round but Santos gets the title Fourth and final round for the Women's European SS 300 Cup at Vallelunga Circuit, Italy, together with the Italian Road Racing Championship. Amazing day for the Italian Sabrina Della Manna, who won the round at the end of a thrilling fight with Beatriz Neila Santos, winner of the title thanks to the second position. The Spanish ruled the three rounds with an outstanding pace and the second position at Vallelunga was enough to conquered the top of the standing. Third position for Roberta Ponziani.

EMX 125 and EMX 250 European Championship: Benistat and Farres victorious in the sand of Belgium The first burst of action in Lommel, Belgium, saw Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Thibault Benistant make a return to the top of the box in the EMX250 class, as he looked for every advantage over his championship rival Mattia Guadagnini of Husqvarna Maddii Racing Junior. Meanwhile in the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing category, it was Guillem Farres of RFME GASGAS MX Junior Team, who took his very first overall victory of the season, with a fifth and a race win! The European Championship riders were the first to test out the changes made to the circuit here in Lommel, to kick off this weekend’s races. Today’s races, along with the next two rounds coming up, are vital for the EMX pilots as they give their final push for top championship positions, and in the case of Benistant and Guadagnini, fight it out

European U21 Individual Speedway Championship: Danish Marcus Birkemose takes the title! After the cancellation of the final round of the European U21 Individual Speedway Championship in Hungary due to the restrictions of the Coronavirus, the event was held today in Gdańsk, Poland. Young riders from all over Europe fought each other for the title: before the last series of heats 7 riders still had a chance for a medal. At the end Marcus Birkemose scored 2 points to win the title and Jakub Miśkowiak won his last heat to finish second, Alexander Woentin completed the podium. The final classification: 1. EMX 125 and EMX 250 European Championship: Guadagnini and Bonacorsi victorious for the round of Spain The European riders of the the EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing riders were the first to ride the brand-new circuit here in Spain, with Husqvarna Junior Racing Maddii’s Mattia Guadagnini taking a third consecutive overall victory in the EMX250 category, while in EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing, it was the championship leader Andrea Bonacorsi of Fantic Racing who made his return to the top of the box. As the gate dropped for the opening EMX250 race, it was Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Gianluca Facchetti who led the rest of the field into the first corner, with Kay de Wolf of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing in second and Guadagnini third.
