Motocross of European Nations postponed to 2022 The FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing regrets to inform that this year’s FIM-Europe Motocross of European Nations will not go ahead as originally planned and will be postponed to 2022 at a venue To Be Announced. The 2021 edition of the MXoEN was due to take place in Riola Sardo, Italy later this season, though with the current situation, the tough decision was made to push back the event by a year. The unique event welcomes some of the best talents from all over Europe, as riders from each country battle for pride and glory for their nation. In 2019, the race saw Team Italy defend their 2018 title as they became champions once again, meanwhile in the WMX division it was Team Holland who went on to take their first WMXoEN victory in Gdansk, Poland! Motocross European Championships Calendar Update: Finland postponed to 2022 The FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing regrets to inform that the GP of Finland originally scheduled to take place on the 21st and 22nd of August in Iitti-KymiRing with EMX250 and EMX125 will no longer go ahead for the 2021 season with the event postponed to 2022. Due to the sudden increase of COVID-19 restrictions enforced by the Finnish government on the events industry, this year’s Finnish Grand Prix cannot be run and therefore is forced to be cancelled. The event will be replaced, on a future date to be announced soon. An updated calendar will follow in the upcoming weeks to continue this exciting season. Motocross European Championships: calendars updates FIM Europe and Infront Moto Racing are excited to reveal that this season, the European calendars will see two Grand Prix’s taking place in Turkey, with the MXGP of Turkey and MXGP of Afyon. The Turkish double-header will see rounds of the EMXOpen and EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Turkey has successfully managed and kept the virus under control with its strong health system and therefore it has been decided to hold one more round of MXGP in Afyonkarahisar, the City of Sports. This year’s Turkish Grand Prix will host the first double-header of 2021 under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey. The MXGP of Turkey will go ahead as originally planned on the 4th and 5th of September, while the second event, the MXGP of Afyon will take place mid-week on the following Tuesday and Wednesday,

Supermoto European Championship: the races in Vysoke Myto Day full of events in Vysoke Myto, in the Czech Republic, for the Supermoto European Championship with the S2, SM Junior, S3 and Senior classes. In perfect conditions the two races in the S2 class were full of action in front of big Czech crowd on the grandstands and around the track. Austrian Husqvarna rider Andy Buschberger took the overall victory with two race wins. The Turkish youngster took the lead after passing several riders into the final corner on lap six of 14, but was shuffled back to seventh at the next corner, demonstrating just how close it was. EMX 2T European Championship and EMX Open European Championship: Jost and Spies take victories in Czech Republic Races in Loket, Czech Republic, have concluded with victories by Simon Jost in the EMX Open category and Maximilian Spies of Fantic Factory Team Maddii in EMX2t Presented by FMF Racing. ETC: Hugo Millán passes away Following a serious incident in European Talent Cup Race One at the MotorLand Aragón Round of the FIM CEV Repsol, it is with great sadness that we report the passing of rider Hugo Millán. Millán was involved in a multi-rider incident at Turn 5, with the session immediately red flagged. The Medical Intervention Vehicles arrived at the site immediately and the rider was attended to on track before being transferred to the Medical Centre at the Circuit. Despite the best efforts of the circuit medical staff, the Medical Centre has announced that Millán has sadly succumbed to his injuries. Millán was enjoying his most successful season so far in the FIM CEV Repsol, claiming several podiums to demonstrate his consistency as he competed at the front of the class.
