European Handy Bridgestone Cup: Le Mans’ race Pictures copyright: Paulus Stéphane First race for the European Handy Bridgestone Cup 2022 at the historic Le Mans Circuit together with Endurance World Championship and Sidecar World Championship. Two different categories with a lot of fight and emotions. First place overall and in 1000 category for Italian rider Emiliano Malagoli, while for Frenchman Benoit Thibal had fought for the second position in both the competitions. Despite a fall in the first race, the Czechoslovak Martin Horky was back in saddle for a well-deserved third place in the race 2! For the “lesser impaired” category (minor disabilities) the Italian Samuele Bertolasio for the 1000cc category and the Spaniard Antonio Montoya Cazorla for the 600cc category confirmed their first position in both races. Supermoto S4 European Championship: the season starts in Italy First race day of the season for the Supermoto S4 European Championship in Busca, Italy. S4 Race 1 The first race of the Sunday was for the S4 class. At the start it was L30 Racing TM Factory rider Alex Ruiz-Gimenez who took the hole-shot into the first fast corner of the Circuito Internazionale di Busca. Second place was for the teammate of Ruiz, Kevin Vandi who was in his turn followed by FRT2 Racing rider Marco Malone. Fourth place was for Gazza Racing rider Giorgio Cravotto but a small mistake in the first lap made him fall back to last place in the race. In front the two teammates were fighting and already in lap two Vandi overtook Ruiz-Gimenez for the lead with Malone not far behind. Lap after lap the three were battling for every meter of asphalt. Supercross European Championship After two years of waiting, the Supercross European Championship took place on 15-16-17 April in the Adrenalin Arena, Estonia, with three intense days of racing. Day 1 In the SX Men category, the French rider Charles Lefrançois was the most consistent, winning a heat and winning with a one-point lead over Cheyenne Harmon who traveled to Estonia from Texas. Fastest rider in qualifying, the American will be keen to take his revenge just like Thomas Ramette. Trial European Championship: round 2 in France After the first round in Spain, this weekend the city of Breal sous Monfort, France, hosted the second round of the Trial European Championship. Special presence the one of the FIM Europe President, Mr Martin De Graaff. “In this famous trial location many trial events have been organized. On Saturday were the Cups for Women and Youth class, while on Sunday the European Championship and Over 40 Cup. Three rounds of 10 sections in a selective and rocky area. Trial European Championship: round 1 in Spain The Trial European Championship is back to action. The first round of the 2022 season took place on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May in Pobladura de la Regueras, Spain. A sunny day of spring welcomed all the riders for a high technical level racetrack. In the main category Marco Mempor won with a clear domination. Behind him great battle for the podium with Jarand-Matias Vold Gunvaldsen and Harry Hemingway to gain it. In the Trial Over 40 Cup great fight for the victory between Dan Clark and Sergio Puyo: the English rider prevailed over the Spanish for just one point. Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Eropean Cup: Ruiz and Bergamini share honours in opening Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup races Yeray Ruiz and Denis Bergamini were the first winners of the 2022 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup at MotorLand Aragón, with the Italian and Spaniard both sharing the championship lead, having also scored third-place finishes. Having qualified on pole position in Superpole session, Spanish youngster Ruiz maintained his lead by the end of the first lap, before Brazil’s Enzo Valentim hit the front on the second tour. Seven riders were involved in the lead battle for the opening five laps, but as they headed onto the sixth, Ruiz and Valentim pulled clear. The two constantly swapped places through the closing stages, but it was 18-year-old Ruiz who would eventually take victory, beating his 17-year-old rival by 0.273s across the line to win on debut. EMX 125 European Championship and EMX Open European Championship: Fueri and Tropepe win second round of EMX125 and EMX Open in Trentino Rounds two of the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing and EMX Open Championships have concluded in Pietramurata with Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Alexis Fueri and Millionair Racing Team’s Giuseppe Tropepe taking to the top step in their classes for the round of Trentino. Fueri had the perfect weekend, celebrating a lot of firsts, including first race win, first 1-1 scorecard, first overall victory and first time leading the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing championship. Meanwhile Tropepe enjoyed his own success, winning in front of his home crowd here in Italy as he celebrated his first win in the EMX Open category. FIM Europe is pleased to announce the development of the E-Bike activities: E-Bike Enduro Cup The FIM Europe, starting from season 2022, will make his entrance in the world of the electrically assisted two-wheeled vehicles organizing a meeting valid for the assignment of the E-Bike Enduro Cup 2022. The event will take place in Italy, in the wonderful landscape of Tuscany (Località Pasquilio, Massa), on 17th of July and will be organized by Moto Club Versilia Corse. The format of the race will be the one of Enduro, composed by transfers and special test. The vehicles admitted will be the E-Bikes without assistance limit divided in three classes: E1 (up to 250 watts), E2 (over 250 watts, no throttle) and E3 (over 250 watts).
