Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Eropean Cup: round 2 at Assen It was a perfect weekend for Brazilian youngster Enzo Valentim, who doubled up in the second round of the 2022 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup at the TT Circuit Assen, picking up the maximum 50 points and leaving the Dutch venue on top of the standings. In Race 1, France’s Gregory Carbonnel and fellow Brazilian Kevin Fontainha joined Valentim on the podium, with his compatriot finishing runner-up in Race 2, in which Italy’s Andrea Pizzoli rounded out the top three. Having gone fastest in the Free Practice session, Valentim took pole position by 1.1s, with Brazilian Gustavo Manso and Pizzoli joining him on the front row for both of Saturday’s races, while Thai rider Krittapat Keankum also enjoyed his best qualifying performance in fourth. EMX 125 European Championship and EMX Open European Championship: Valk and Butron top the box at Latvian round The third rounds of the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing and EMX Open Championship have concluded, with Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk and JD Gunnex KTM Racing’s Jose Butron taking the overall victories at the round of Latvia. A victory for Valk has allowed him to take control of the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing series lead, while Butron has closed in to Raths Motorsport’s Michael Sandner who lost a tone of points after not finishing the opening race and now leads by just a point. EMX Quad European Championship: Markelo is hunting ground for Saar Race 1 Twenty-seven eager Quadcross racers lined up on the gate to spark life into the 2022 EMX Quad European Championship. The close nature of the lap times during the earlier practice sessions suggested that a closely fought battle would be on our hands. From the gate drop it was Joe Maessen who took the hole-shot ahead of Christopher Tvaraen and reigning champion Kevin Saar. Throughout the first lap, Massen did a grand job of defending his lead, however Saar had other ideas and soon started implementing his plan of overhauling Tvaraen and himself. Onto the second lap, Saar put the power from his Yamaha down in superior fashion compared with Tvaraen, and soon found himself snapping at the heels of Joe Maessen. However, Maessen was quickly dispensed of, and Saar pulled the pin, and nobody saw which way he

EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship: South West zone First round for the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South West zone in Gazzane di Preseglie, Italy. Even if the original schedule foresaw two days of race, due to bad weather conditions the race was done on a single day. In EMX 85 race 1 the Italian Niccolo Mannini started from the pole position winning the race ahead of Italian riders Gennaro Utech and Filippo Mantovani. Italy ruled the podium with the French Felix Cardineaux fourth and Mano Faure fifth. The second heat was raced under a heavy rain: in different conditions the Italian Edoardo Martinelli was the best ahead of the French Amaury Maindru and Utech, with Cardineau again fourth and Mantovani fifth. Women's European SS 300 Cup: round 2 in Spain Round 2 for the Women's European SS 300 Cup at Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. Despite the good weather conditions, a strong wind characterized all the sessions. As in the opening round at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy, Beatriz Neila Santos replicated the pole position confirming his determination at home circuit. In race 1 the Spanish rider immediately took the leadership, keeping the first position until the chequered flag. Behind her, with 7 second gap, her compatriot Sara Sanchez, who succeed to get the podium despite a small injury to the leg. After the great debut at Misano, Jessica Howden from South Africa finished third confirming the great skills of her “pink” team. EMX 65 85 European Championship: South East zone   On April 16-17 the track of Sevlievo, Bulgaria, former MXGP venue, was the host of the first round of the 2022 EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship South East zone under the organization of the Bulgarian Motorcycle Federation (BMF). If the weather conditions were good on Saturday for practices and qualifying races, on Sunday’s races there were heavy rain. EMX65 Race 1 saw Bulgarian rider #24 Georgi Ginov (HUSQVARNA) led all the race just in front of Romanian #28 Mark Szoke-Eross (HUSQVARNA), who tried to find a way pass but was unable to do it. Interesting battle for third place as well, between Turkish ride #112 Efe Okur (KTM) and Romanian rider #21 Sami Dumitru (KTM), who finished third and fourth less than two seconds apart.
