FIM Europe celebrates the World Sustainability Week Dear friends of the world of FIM Europe, as every year, the moment is approaching when the whole world will celebrate the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY. The FIM Europe as well as the FIM, intends to extend these celebrations to the entire week that includes the WED by celebrating the WORLD SUSTAINABILITY WEEK which will begin on May 30 and end on June 5. This is an opportunity to remind everyone involved in the world of motorcycling of the importance of operating in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner when we carry out our favourite activity, whether it is competitive or simply recreational. This is also be an opportunity to remind everyone that this behaviour should not be limited to this celebratory period, but extended to every day of the year. Northern Talent Cup: Phommara and Moor win in Oschersleben After Le Mans challenge, the second round of the Northern Talent Cup was raced at Oschersleben, Germany. Race 1 Lennox Phommara (Phommara Team) has shown his wet weather prowess before in the Northern Talent Cup, and the Swiss rider did it again in a wet Race 1 at Oschersleben. Making his way to the lead and then pulling a gap, the number 48 held off a late race charge from Kilian Holzer (HK Racing) to take his first win. Behind what became a duel for victory, Rossi Moor (FAIRIUM Next Generation Riders Team) completed the podium. After a Red Flag, some false starts and a restart - that then didn’t feature Le Mans winner Kevin Farkas (Agria Racing Team) or Noa Cuypers (Junior Black Knights) - it was Tibor Varga (Forty Racing) who shot into the lead and pulled a huge gap.

EMX Quad European Championship: Saar dominance is thwarted by re-ignited Tvaraen Second seasonal round for the EMX Quad European Championship. The race took place in Loket, in the Czech Republic. Race 1 As has been the case throughout much of the previous two seasons, Saar grabbed an early lead, with Tvaraen in second place and a flying Jan Brhel in third. This, however, was very short-lived as a mistake by Tvaraen saw Brhel take punishment, and crash out of podium contention, a great shame to what would have been a promising showing from the young Czech. Cappuccio used this to his advantage, and soon found himself in second place, being hounded by a resurgent Tvaraen, who had fell-victim to the red mist. Tvaraen swiftly passed Cappuccio and, with one goal in mind and adrenaline coursing through his veins, soon set about devouring the five-second advantage that Saar had built up

Speedway European Championship: Kubera won in Hungary Third round of the Speedway European Championship in Nagyhalasz, Hungary. It was an exciting meeting with a sunny weather in front of 2.000 home fans. Riders from fifteen different countries raced for the top five places leading into Speedway Euro Championship Challenge. Well prepared and maintained track in Nagyhalasz didn’t leave fans unsatisfactory with excellent racing and a lot of accidents and re-runs. It was up to the last race of each rider to decide riders who will qualify to the SEC Challenge. At the end an additional heat determined riders’ positions and the best was Dominik Kubera. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South West zone Exciting third round for the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South West zone at the beautiful track of Talavera de la Reina, Spain. EMX 65 In race 1 championship leader Pau Caudet leaves the door open to qualifying winner, the Austrian Ricardo Bauer, who won ahead of the Spanish Celso Rodriguez and Alonso Parejo. In race 2 home rider Carlos Martin took the holeshot ahead of Bauer until four laps to the finish. At the end of a great battle, Bauer won in front of Martin and Trent Valsecchi, third. EMX 85 In race 1 championship leader Italian Niccolò Mannini continues in what he is the best: winning heats. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South East zone   After the first round in Bulgaria and the second one in Romania, last weekend the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - South East zone was hosted at the new track in Edirne, Turkey. EMX 65 In race 1 qualifying winner Sami Dimitru won the holeshot leading from the start. Behind Georgi Ginov and Szoke Eros Mark fought for second place until the checkered flag. Both shown great talent and at the end Geogi Ginov got the better of him. In the second heat Mark made the holeshot in front of Dimitru, who passed him at the first corner. At half race he crashed and Mark was back to the lead. Dimitru succeeded in finishing second and Ginov was third. EMX 85 Absent the zone leader, Dani Tsankov won the first race in Edirne. European Under23 Team Speedway Championship: Great Britain qualifies for Final   Semi-Final 1 for the European Under23 Team Speedway Championship in Pardubice, Czech Republic. The meeting was run on a sunny windy day after a big thunderstorm on the previous night. Team from Great Britain showed real class with three equally good riders being led by faultless Daniel Bewley. Team Czech Republic fought to the last heath but two young riders in their team could not match the class of their older English counterparts. Czechs finished second only four points behind. Team France shoved some promise as well as the Team Europe, which had only three riders and therefore could not end up better than last. Final results Team Great Britain, 46 points Team Czech Republic, 42 points Team France, 21 points Team Europe, 11 points Great Britain is qualified for the final round of the European Under 23 Team

EMX Women's European Championship: great race for Mathea Selebø After the races in Denmark and France, the third round of the EMX Women's European Championship was raced in Helsingborg, Sweden. Not perfect race for the leader Line Dam, who finished third in both races, getting the third overall position. This time was the Norwegian Mathea Selebø to win thanks to a second and a first position. One win and one second place for home rider, Matilda Huss, who finished second overall. Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup: second round in Spain Second round for the Moto2 European Championship and European Talent Cup at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Spain. Moto2 The fight for victory in the Moto2™ was between Tulovic and Alex Escrig (Yamaha Philippines Stylobike) after Senna Agius (Promoracing) crashed out of the lead at Turn 12 in the early exchanges. Tulovic went on to win by 1.1s to extend his Championship lead, with the final podium place going to Xavi Cardelus (Promoracing) after a good scrap with Yeray Ruiz (FAU55 TEY Racing). The Stock honours went the way of Marco Tapia (Easyrace Team) after the Spaniard crossed the line in P10.
