2022 FIM Europe Congress It’s almost time Next week the FIM Europe family will finally meet again face to face in Bucharest for the FIM Europe Congress in a thrilling and exciting weekend. With last two year’s editions cancelled due to COVID restrictions, the FIM Europe is happy to announce that from Wednesday 29th June to Saturday 2nd July the FIM Europe Congress will take place inside the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest, Romania. The glittering European capital city is no stranger to hosting this prestigious occasion and last hosted the Congress back in 1999, which proved to be a successful event. Bucharest will again welcome the FIM Europe Congress, this being next week. TAURON SEC 2022 wild card This year's TAURON Speedway Euro Championship series will begin with the final round on July 2 in Rybnik and will traditionally consist of four rounds (the only exception to that was the pandemic season of 2020 when five rounds were played). This time for the tournament, which will be held in Silesia, the organizers decided to invite someone very well known in the local environment. In this way, with number #16 in the first this year's final of TAURON SEC starts no one else, but Kacper Woryna. The Rybnik center's graduate represented the local team from the beginning of his career until 2020. Later he changed his surroundings and moved to Wlókniarz Czestochowa, where he starts already the second season. The rider born on 31 August 1996 has on his account a silver medal in the Individual European Junior Championship, which he won in 2014.

SEC: Andzejs Lebedevs wins SEC Challenge! SEC Challenge tournament which was held on the track in Krsko, Slovenia, belonged to Andzejs Lebedevs. He was the winner on Saturday evening. The competition also determined the next four participants of this prestigious cycle in season 2022. Dimitri Berge took second place and Rasmus Jensen, who finished third, completed the podium. Andzejs Lebedevs showed very good performance from the very beginning. After two rounds of competition the Latvian, Rasmus Jensen and unexpectedly Adam Ellis, who replaced injured Janusz Kołodziej, scored all the points. After not very good start Bartosz Smektala charmed with his ride in the second part of the competition. Perfect ride allowed him to advance to Individual European Championships. Polish fans were rubbing their eyes with astonishment after two rounds because situation of Dominik Kubera and Bartosz Smektala was not that colorful. Kubera had 2 points and Smektala had only one

Northern Talent Cup: Moor and Farcas win at Sachsenring Race1 Rossi Moor (FARIUM Next Generation Riders) extended his lead at the top of the Northern Talent Cup standings after claiming a third victory of the season in what was another classic encounter at the Sachsenring. The Hungarian beat compatriot Kevin Farkas (Agria Racing Team) by just 0.169s as Germany’s Dustin Schneider (Goblin Racing) picked up the final podium spot after Tibor Varga (Forty Racing) was demoted one position on the last  lap for exceeding track limits. Farkas got the best start of all when he went from P6 to P1 at the first corner but from there until the chequered flag, the lead and podium  positions would change constantly with as many as 11 riders sitting in the  lead group in the early exchanges. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - North East zone
 EMX Women's European Championship The Lithuanian city of Siauliai hosted the second round of the EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship - North East zone and the sixth of EMX Women's European Championship. Riders from Riders form 13 different countries joined the weekend, confirming the internationality of the series. EMX85 In race1 Polish rider Dawid Zaremba took the holeshot, but he crashed on lap 2. The Estonian Gregor Kuusk took a lead, saving the position until the chequered flag. Behind him second position for another Estonian rider Travis Leok and third for Raivo Laicans from Latvia. Race 2 started in the best way for Zaremba, but after few laps he was overcame by Kuusk. Third position for Jan-Marten Paju from Estonia. EMX65 Amazing double win for Lucas Leok, who was unstoppable. European U23 Team Speedway Championship: SF2 European U23 Team Speedway Championship - SF2 took place in Elgane, Norway. At the end of a hard-fought competition Team Sweden won with 42 points. The second place went to Team Latvia with 39 points, while the third to Team Germany (23 points). Close to the podium the Norvegian team, fourth with 22 points. EMX 125 European Championship and EMX 250 European Championship: Elzinga and Fueri top the podium Rounds six of the EMX250 and EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing have concluded in Teutschenthal at the Round of Germany that saw Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Rick Elzinga and Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Alexis Fueri stand on the top step of the podium in their classes! EMX250 In the first EMX250 race which took place on Saturday, it was Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Rick Elzinga who led the way ahead of TBS Conversions Racing Team’s Camden Mc Lellan, Sahkar Racing’s Jorgen-Mathias Talviku, Sacha Coenen of Jumbo Husqvarna BT Racing Team as well as Mike Gwerder of WZ Racing Team. Moto2 The first Moto2™ ECh race treated us to an intriguing battle between Agius and polesitter Lukas Tulovic (Liqui Moly Intact JuniorGP Team). Tulovic led for the most part until a mistake at Turn 9 with two laps to go allowed Agius to swoop through – and the young Australian held on for his first Moto2™ victory. Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Eropean Cup: Pizzoli and Valentim share spoils in Misano Home hero Andrea Pizzoli and Brazil’s Enzo Valentim shared the victories in Saturday’s two R3 Cup races. Italy’s Andrea Pizzoli and Brazil’s Enzo Valentim took a victory apiece in the third round of the 2022 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, with the former extending his championship lead. Having qualified on pole position, Pizzoli celebrated his maiden win at his home round, while Valentim’s Race 2 victory saw him extend his lead at the top of the standings to 24 points. With clear skies overhead and temperatures rising at the Italian venue, the 28 riders took to the grid with little experience of their Yamaha R3 bikes in these hotter track conditions.
