Supersport 300 Cup: Guido Berselli even more leader Penultimate round of the Supersport 300 Cup at the well-known Circuit of Grobnik, Croatia, with a strong heat and high temperatures. Championship leader Guido Berselli from Italy ruled race 1 ahead of Patricia Sowa from Poland and Etien Kantar Bozic from Slovenia. In race 2 Filip Juranek from Czech Republic won in front of Berselli and Sowa. Thanks to a win and a second position Berselli is still leader of the standing with one race still to go. European Pairs Speedway Championship: Denmark wins on home-soil Last event for the European Pairs Speedway Championship in Slangerup, about 30 km north-west of central Copenhagen, in the Capital Region of Denmark. After the domination of Latvia in Semifinal 1 and Great Britain in Semifinal 2, in this last race home riders from Denmark had the best in front of Czech Republic and Poland. EMX 250 European Championship: Elzinga crowned champion! The round of Charente Maritime concluded the 2022 campaign of the EMX 250 European Championship that saw Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing’s Rick Elzinga wrap up the title in the opening heat, while Jumbo BT Husqvarna Racing Team’s Lucas Coenen ended his season in the best way possible with a 1-1 scorecard and claimed his third overall win of the year as well as the silver medal in the standings! A strong result for L. Coenen also meant that he secured the silver medal in the championship standings while Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cornelius Toendel dropped to third after an unlucky first race, in which he scored 0 points. In the opening race of the weekend, the holeshot went to Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Hakon Osterhagen who led his teammate, Cornelius Toendel. Yamaha YZ bLU cRU 85cc-125cc Cup: Salvini and Tsankov victorious in France The French crowd was treated to two more superb YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale races on Sunday at Saint Jean D'Angély, which saw Italy’s Nicola Salvini and Bulgarian youngster Dani Tsankov storm to victory in the YZ125 and YZ85 races. Sunday marked the end of the hugely successful 2022 YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, which saw more than 100 riders battle it out for a spot at the unique bLU cRU Masterclass event at the end of this year. Vintage Regularity Cup The Classic Club Hlohovec organised in the town centre of Holič, Slovakia, the only race of the Vintage Regularity Cup. For one day the normal traffic was stopped for over 100 riders, to let the race to take place on a track of 1250 meters with two right and five left turns. The weather was mild and partly sunny, but it started to rain in the late afternoon: riders and organiser decided to cancel the last three races for security reasons (classes C, D and E sidecars). It was decided that the results of the second practice session were valid for the race. Coenen and Krestinov take overall victories Iitti-KimiRing, Finland, made a memorable comeback to the European Championship racing calendar this weekend, with title celebrations from Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk who after the first race was crowned the EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing Champion. NTC: Farkas flies and wins the weekend Race1 Kevin Farkas (Agria Racing Team) came into Assen with the momentum and in Race 1, the number 28 only hammered that home. Disappearing at the front for another impressive win, he did what he needed to as points leader Rossi Moor (Fairium Next Generation Riders) had been homing in on match point. But with Jurrien van Crugten (BB64 Academy) taking an impressive and comfortable second, his first NTC podium, and Valentino Herrlich (Busch und Wagner Racing Team) charging back to overcome two Long Laps and take third, Moor was ultimately demoted to fourth as Farkas cut the 31-point gap by a considerable margin on Saturday. From the off, Farkas was off and the Hungarian had only van Crugten and Herrlich for real company.
