SSP 300 Women's European Championship: double win for Santos The action got underway at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain, where the SSP 300 Women's European Championship raced round two together with ESBK. Race 1 On her home track Beatriz Neila Santos won taking advantage of Roberta Ponziani's crash. Natalia Rivera took the first podium finishing second ahead of Aurelia Cruciani. There were a lot of different nationalities behind the top three, with the Chilean Isis Carreño fourth, the Mexican Astrid Madrigal fifth and the Austrian Lena Kemmer sixth. Race 2 Once more Beatriz Neila Santos had no rivals on home soil: the reigning champion won also Race 2. Enduro European Championship: Matej Skuta claimed double overall victory in Portuguese round The second round of the Enduro European Championship was hosted in Santa Marta de Penaguiao, Portugal. Day1 Matej Skuta topped in all the three special tests: after the missing victory in Fabriano, the Czechoslovak rider managed to end the day with the best time ever. Second step of the podium for the French rider Diego Haution, who managed to maintain a good pace in all the special tests. David Abgrall, former European Champion, managed to finish third overall despite a small crash in the second lap. Individual Speedway Euro Championship: Berge wins SEC challenge In Nagyhalasz, Hungary, we finally met the next five participants of the SEC - Individual Speedway Euro Championship. Dimitri Berge, Kacper Woryna, Jan Kvech, Grzegorz Zengota and Andreas Lyager advanced to the series and will fight for the title of Individual European Champion. The Frenchman sealed his promotion already in the fourth series, when he reached the finish line first for the fourth consecutive time and got 12 points. He recorded his first defeat only in race 19, in which he was third. Promotion to the TAURON SEC series was won by two representatives of Poland - Kacper Woryna and Grzegorz Zengota. Both scored 10 points each, and their promotion means that we will see at least five Poles in the fight for the title of Individual European Champion. EMX250 European Championship: Valk gets first win of his career That was a great weekend and strong fourth round for the EMX250 European Championship in Intu Xanadu Arroyonolinos, Spain, with many battles throughout the weekend. At the end of the weekend, it was Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Cas Valk who clinched his first win of the season in front of Championship leader Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi and BT Racing Team’s Kay Karssemakers once again on the podium. In race 1, Fantic Factory Team Maddii’s Alexis Fueri was the quickest out of the gate but the Red Plate Andrea Bonacorsi overtook him after few turns to take the lead. We thought that Bonacorsi would go on to win without trouble but Team VRT KTM Factory Juniors’ Marc-Antoine Rossi had a magnificent pace tried to disrupt that. Mini Road Racing European Championship: Italy crowned 2023 champions The Mini Road Racing European Championship was back in action for a weekend full of excitement. If the 2022 edition was hosted by the “Cathedral of Speed”, the TT Assen in The Netherlands, this year the event took place at Circuito Internazionale D’Abruzzo, in Italy. The Championship aims to create opportunities for young riders to demonstrate their qualities. The Mini Road Racing is a fundamental step for the future motorcycling stars: it is a great platform for up-and-coming young road racers to hone their craft.
