Second round of Dragbike EC in Tierp

The second round of the Dragbike European Championship was held yesterday in Tierp (Sweden). In the Top Fuel Bike victory by Swedish Peter Svensson (Billet Racing) who also set the new ET European Record in 5.923 sec. Swedish Per Bengtsson (Bentec) was the winner of the Super Twin class, setting the new TS European Record at 360,00 km/h. The Pro Stock Bike class was won by Swedish Ulf Ogge (Buell). The Super Street Bike class was cancelled Sunday afternoon due to bad weather conditions. Next round of the Dragbike European Championship will be held on the 8th of July in Alastaro (Finland). Results of EMX65NE, EMX85NE and EMX Open in Oborniki

The fifth round of the EMX65 / EMX85 in North-Eastern zone and the eight and last round of the EMX Open Motocross European Championship were held in Oborniki (Poland). On a perfect prepared track was the training and qualification held on Saturday. In the EMX 65cc class, the winner of race 1 was Polish Patryk Zdunek (KTM), followed y Estonian Andreas Hiiemagi (KTM) and Ukrainian Mykola Moskaluk (KTM). In the second race the winner was again Patryk Zdunek, followed by Hiiemagi and Moskaluk. In the EMX 85cc, the winner of race 1 was Latvian Tomass Sileika (KTM), followed by Polish Gabriel Chetnicki (Suzuki) and Estonian Claudius Roosma (KTM). In the second race Thomas Sileika was again the winnerin front of Estonian Karl-Robert Reinike (KTM) and Estonian Hendrik Talviku (KTM). Fourth round of EMX 125cc in Bastogne

The fourth round of the 125cc 2 stroke Motocross European Championship was held today in Bastogne (Belgium). In the first heat victory went to Slovenian Tim Gajser (KTM) in front of Norwegian Magne Klingsheim (KTM) and Latvian Pauls Jonass (KTM). The victory of the second heat went to British James Dunn (KTM), followd by French Nicolas Dercourt (Yamaha) and Slovenian Tim Gajser (KTM). The provisional rankings see the leadership of Tim Gajser with 195 followed by Magne Klingsheim with 133 points. Results of NW EMX65 and EMX85 in Schwedt

The fifth and last round of the North Western EMX 65cc and 85cc Motocross European Championship was held today in Schwedt (Germany), near the Polish border, with dry and warm weather and a very well prepared track The EMX65 was dominated by has been dominated by Swedish Arwid Makinen (KTM), winner in both races. Danish Bastian Boegh Damm (KTM) took two times the second place and the overall third place went to Swedish Filip Olsson (KTM). The Danish rider Bastian Boegh Damm was the winner of the North West qualification group after 5 rounds (10 heats). In EMX85 the leading riders Dutch Davy Pootjes (KTM), German Tilo Wittlerbaeumler (KTM), British Conrad Mewse (KTM) and German Brian Hsu (Suzuki) gave a spectacular fight with big appreciation by the public. The EMX 65/85 (NE Europe) and the EMX Open Motocross European Championships were held last weekend in Kaunas (Lithuania). The track was hard and the weather was warm and sunny, 24 degrees. Five thousand spectators attended the event. In class 65cc in race 1, first place Timur Petrashin (KTM) from Russia, second place Patryk Zdunek (KTM) from Poland, third place Andreas Hiemagi (KTM) from Estonia. European Championship, held yesterday, and the KTM Junior Cup and the Two Countries Cup, held today The 4th round of the Superstock 600 cc Road Racing European Championship was held yesterday at Misano World Circuit (Italy). The race was won by the Dutch Michael Van der Mark (Honda) in front of the Italian Riccardo Russo (Yamaha). The leader of the Championship Russo tried to obtain a considerable gap during the early laps, but Van der Mark who is in the second place in the general rankings was able to keep up with him and overtake him at previous lap to the last. Warnia dominates the MAXXIS EMX Quad round in S.Severino Marche

The third round of the MAXXIS EMX Quad European Championship was run this weekend in San Severino Marche (Italy). In race 1, best start for the local rider Nicola Montalbini (Honda) in front of Paul Holmes (Yamaha) and the championship leader Jeremy Warnia (Can-Am). Warnia passed Holmes after 10 minutes and than fought with Montabini for the victory. In the last corner Warnia passed and won in front of Montalbini and Holmes. 4th place for German Stefan Schreiber KTM). In race 2, best start for the young Italian rider Andrea Cesari Jr.(KTM) in front of Stefan Schreiber, Jeremie Warnia and Nicola Montalbini. Both Italian riders must stop the race because of technical problems. Results of Nort-West Europe EMX65/EMX85 in Bielstein

The fourth round of the North Western EMX 65 and 85cc Motocross European Championship was held today in Bielstein (Germany) in sunny weather conditions. The first heat of the EMX65 was won by the Dutch rider Raf Meuwissen (KTM) that dominated the most part of the race. The only worries came by the Danish rider Bastian Boegh Damm (KTM), who made the fastest lap of the race, but finished in second place. In the second heat, Meuwissen (NED) made the best jump start, but during the first lap fell down and ended up in the back position. The winner was the Dutch rider Raivo Dankers (KTM) who lead all the race; second Danish Bastian Boegh Damm (KTM); third Swedish Filip Olsson (KTM). In the EMX85 the winner of the first heat was the German rider Tilo Wittlerbaumer (KTM). The best start and the best lap were made by Brian Hsu

Double win by Gajser in the EMX 125cc in Agueda

The Slovenian Tim Kaiser won both heats of the third round of the 125cc 2 stroke Motocross European Championship held today in Agueda (Portugal). The track conditions were tougher for the young riders due to the rain, but it did not stop Tim Gajser (KTM) to dominate the first heat of the race, arriving in front of Dutch Calvin Vlaanderen (KTM) and Norwegian Magne Klingsheim (KTM). Tim Gajser took the holeshot of the second heat and easily opened a big gap with his pursuers. The Slovenian rider crossed the finish line 47 seconds ahead of the second classified James Dunn (KTM) and obtained the third overall round victory of the season. The provisional rankings see the leadership of Slovenian Tim Gajser with 150 points, followed by Italian Davide Bovini with 106 points and Dutch Calvin Vlaanderen with 102 points.
