Semi-Final 2 Individual Speedway EC in Debrecen (Hungary)

The second Semi-Final of the Individual Speedway European Championship was held yesterday in Debrecen (Hungary). The winner of the Semi-final was Croatian rider Jurica Pavlic in front of Polish Robert Miskowiak and Danish Hans Andersen. EMX65 and 85 NE Europe and EMX Open in Orlyonok (Russia)

The second round in the European Championship in the classes EMX 65cc, EMX 85cc and EMX Open was held today in Orlyonok (Russia). On a perfect prepared track and a perfect weather, the training and Qualification was done on Saturday, Sunday also in a perfect sunny Weather started with Warm up for all three classes. The first race in the 85cc class was the fastest rider Sergey Prytov (Russia), number two Dmytro Chrenov (Ukraine), and number three Daniil Balandin (Russia). In the second race the fastest rider was Sergey Prytov (Russia), number two was Aleksandr Boyarskiy (Russia) and on the third place Dmytro Chernov (Ukraine). EMX65 and EMX85 South-Western Europe in Castiglion del Lago (Italy)

The Italian motocross track of Castiglione del Lago, located near the city of Perugia was the host of the second round of the European Championship 65cc-85cc South-Western Zone. As usual in Italy, the track was greatly prepared and the little riders were eager to race. Italian Gianluca Facchetti (Suzuki) managed to impose himself as the winner of the first EMX85 race. He was the only leader of the race being on the top spot from the start to finish. French rider Ludovic Bompar (KTM) did not get the best start and after lap one he was just outside top 10. This did not mean that he gave up fighting, earning position by postion until he was second. Third place went to Italian Filippo Grigoletto (KTM). Start of the Supermoto EC in Capua (Italy)

Circuite Internationale del Volturno in Capua (Italy) was the host of the first round of European Supermoto ES2+Young Trophy Championship 2013. First race was dominated by the runner-up of the 2012 season: Dutch Devon Vermeulen (KTM) took the holeshot and lead the race from start to finish. French rider Frederic Guerin (Suzuki) pressed Vermeulen to make a mistake for the complete 15 laps of the race but was unable to make a pass and saw himself on the second place. Third step of the podium went to Malachi Mitchell-Thomas from Great Britain (TM). Second race started after the same scenario: Vermeulen (KTM) managing to start in front of the pack with Guerin (Suzuki) close on his tracks. In the third lap Vermeulen makes a braking mistake and parts the track for a short while but manages to get back and maintain his position. Few laps later Guerin closed the gap

Superstock 600cc European Championship in Assen (The Netherlands)

The second round of the Superstock 600cc Road Racing european Championship and the European Junior Cup were held this weekend in Assen (The Netherlands). The competition was held under difficult weather conditions between 6 degrees and 22 degrees. In addition, the weekend was both rain and sun. Both classes had very fine sporting results and there was fighting between many riders. EC Superstock 600 had a very exciting conclusion with 5 riders who finished within 1 second. Belgian Gauthier Duwelz (Yamaha) confirmed the victory of Aragon, followed by Australian Adrian Nestorovic (Yamaha) and Swiss Bastien Chesaux (Honda). FIM European Junior Cup was played with very close competition where the winner, the Dutch Bo Bendsneijder (Honda), was not found between 1 drivers in the final corner before the finish line. Semi-Final of European Pairs Speedway EC in Miskolc

The Semi-Final of the European Pairs Speedway Championship was held yesterday in the Hungarian track of Miskolc. The winners of the Semi-Final were the Polish riders (Puszakowski and Ulamek) in front of riders from Slovenia (Matic, Conda and Pecnik) and Czech Republic (Milik, Franc). The first round of the Enduro European Championship was held this weekend in Bussi sul Tirino near Pescara (Italy). The event saw the participation of 185 competitors from 16 countries. Change format for EMX 125 2 Stroke and EMX250cc

Due to the magnificently high number of entries for the 125 2 stroke (69 entries) European Championship and the 250 (94) European Championship for Portugal, Youthstream and FIM Europe are delighted to be able to announce a change in the race format for these Championships permitting every rider to race. The former format would have sent home more than 50% of the riders after the timed practice not allowing them the chance to race, however it is imperative for the young riders to be able to race in order to improve. Youthstream sees the European Championship as the base of our sport's pyramid and it's fantastic to see the number and quality of riders increase with each year. Results of the Motocross of European Nations in Castelnau de Levis

 The France A team won the Motocross of European Nations that was held this year at the beginning of the sporting season in Castelnau de Levis (France). Second position went to Italy and third Sweden. The event had a new formula that see the composition of national teams with 4 young riders of the classes 85cc, 125cc and 250cc. The aim was to show skills to new hopeful riders. The experiment met a positive acceptance by riders and saw a good participation.
