fim europe
The overall-victory at the second day of the enduro-european-championship was for Tom Sagar: The British rider had to quit at the first day and had to change the motor of his KTM. But with the 20 points at the second day live becomes a little bit more easy for him: “In the penultimate test I had a crash and lost some time – so I wasn’t sure, if it will be a good end at all.” Second in the overall was his fellow countryman Jamie Lewis in front of the first-day-winner Maurizio Micheluz, who will still lead the championship. Also in the E1-Class Micheluz is leading with his Suzuki, because he won the second time – just in front of the french Kevin Rohmer, who let Jack Rowland with his Husqvarna go onto third place. As happened in the competition of the day before, the weather was very good and being the terrain very dry, the scores of the riders lowered a lot. The winner in the top class, who competed with Switzer licence, put a serious option on his victory ending the first lap with only 3 points. The best rider behind him was Italian Luca Cotone (Sherco) , but carried already with 9 mistakes. Then German Franz Kadlec (Beta) with 2 points more. Strong and concentrated as never seen, Warenghien feet down once in the whole second loop and knew in advance he would be the winner. Four points in total meant a

Second in the overall was the British junior Steve Holcombe on a KTM in front of his fellow-countryman, the European-junior-champion Jack Rowland: Rowland is riding this year in the E1-Class and there he took the second place right behind Micheluz and the Belgian Cedric Cremer. This former European-Champion is now starting with a smaller 250-4-stroke KTM after a years break! Two laps and 12 sections, even this year. Among the Women , the beautiful German lady had hard time in having the upper hand on Italian Sara Trentini (Beta). Both at the end of the first lap scored just 6 points and felt the pressure of other two Teutonic girls: Theresa Baulm (Ossa) and Sarah Bauer (Sherco) tied with 2 marks more.
