European 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship: Poland grabs the title at home fight Team Poland put in a commanding performance to rule with Kacper Mania, Maksymilian Pawelczak, Emil Maroszek as the battle for supremacy in the 2023 European 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship ended at Bydgoszcz in Poland, last Thursday. It was an exciting round for home heroes in a perfect race organized by Moto Club Bydgoszcz. All expectations were not disappointed and the challenge for the title between team Poland and Denmark was a thrilling show. Arrived at this Final event with just two points difference, the Danish had to deal with a bad day while Poland did it through. Home riders grabbed the title also winning the race with 12 points ahead of Comi team (10 points, Pavel Sitek from Poland and Zoltan Lovas from Hungary) and Great Britain (8 points). European 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship: Poland walks away the winner Dramatic battles set place in occasion of the third round of the European 250cc Pairs Speedway Championship in the city of Prague, in the Czech Republic. Once more Championship’s leaders Denmark and Poland ruled the race, competing together in the final heat. At the end of a thrilling fight, home team won with the result 4:2. Thanks to this success team Poland leads the standings by two points: the last race promises a big fight for the title. Tout Terrain Rally Cup: Dinaric Rally The Dinaric Rally was the perfect setting for the third and next to last round of the Tout Terrain Rally Cup. A unique experience that took participants through some of the most challenging terrain of Croatia, with a focus on navigation, endurance, and the thrill of the race. Open to motorcycles, quads and SSVs featured a variety of stages and time trials. With its combination of high-speed racing, technical challenges, and breathtaking scenery, Dinaric Rally was the perfect destination for seasoned rally riders but also for motorsport enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike. The event was raced from 20th to 26th of August with special stages through endless fields, razor-sharp rocks, hills, mountains, rivers, ancient bridges, and more. Motoball Junior European Championship: German team takes the title! Four years after the last event, the Motoball Junior European Championship was finally back in action. The last event was raced in 2019, before the pandemic, and this year the Championship came back for some great challenges in Jarmen, Gemany. During 2 days teams from Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands and France competed for the 2023 title. No less than 64 players and members of the delegations enjoyed the matches, with 70 goals scored in 8 games. Trial European Championship: Swedish round awards the 2023 champions The third and last round of the Trial European Championship was raced in Ale, Sweden. An important weekend for the series as after the race in Italy at the beginning of July and last week’s competition in Norway, the Swedish round crown the 2023 Champions. Once more almost 130 riders took part at the event for a weekend of fight and excitement, proving the success of this European Championship. First in the standings with a lead of 60 points, French rider Teo Colario moved from Norway to Sweden confident in the fight for the title. With two triumphs in the previous rounds, his goal should be to keep on the race for the gold medal, but he had not reckoned with home hero Jarand Matias Vold Gunvaldsen. EEMX250 European Championship: Bonacorsi gets back to winning ways in Arnhem The Round of Netherlands in EMX250 witnessed many battles across the board. The sand track of Arnhem allowed riders to show all their skills and speed to overtake and fight for the top spots. Red Plate Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Andrea Bonacorsi won his 3rd round of the season and kept his 100% podium record this season while extending his lead in the Championship. Fantic Racing MX’s Cas Valk confirmed his emphatic win in Sweden with the 2nd overall while BT Racing Team’s Kay Karssemakers pulled out another podium after fighting hard to come back in the first race. In race 1, home rider Cas Valk took a huge start and the lead in front of his countryman Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing Team’s Ivano Van Erp and VRT KTM Factory Juniors’ Ferruccio Zanchi.
