Regional Associations Sports Results now available on FIM Europe website

Results
 The FIM Europe official website has been enriched with a new section, dedicated to the Regional Associations and the results of their sports events. In particular, at the following link http://www.fim-europe.com/results_regional/ the 2017 sports event results can be already found. The new section contains all the results of the sports events organised by AAMU -Alpe Adria Motorcycle Union (2017 Results), AMM - Association Méditerranéenne de Motocyclisme (2017 Results), BMA Baltic Motorcyclists Association (2017 Results), BMU - Balkan Motorcycle Union (2017 Results), MACEC - Motorcycle Association of Central European Countries (2017 Results), NMC - Nordic Motorsport Council (2017 Results).

The new issue of FIM Europe Yearbook is online on FIM Europe official website and it can be downloaded for free at this link. The FIM Europe 2018 Yearbook is available also in the reserved area of the official website. In the table of contents, we find the Welcome from the FIM Europe President Dr Wolfgang Srb, the story,  organisation and  structure of FIM Europe, as well as infos about  International Organisations, National Federations and Regional Associations, the 2017 sporting results, the roll of honour of European Championships and Cups. Furthermore, infos about Communication, FIM Europe website, press card, Road Safety Conference, FIM Europe Congress and Motorcycle friendly Hotels. The Yearbook also contains infos about the 2018 Sporting Year, FIM Europe licences, inscription fees, riders, teams, homologated tracks and the 2018 Sporting Calendar.

European Superenduro Cup at Bilbao (Spain)

The atmosphere in the Biskaia Arena was electric for the 2nd round of the European Superenduro Cup. A little over 6000 fans came to the Bilbao Exhibition Center to cheer on the best international riders – the event hosted, in fact, also the 4th round of the Maxxis FIM Superenduro Maxxis FIM Superenduro World Championship. The show, which was full-on, complete with enthusiastic cheerleaders and shockingly unpredictable races. Great challenge between French Jacon Adrien and German Tim Apolle, winner of the first round in Poland, who raced with a KTM 300 that he will also use in the German Enduro Championship. The first manche was regular, while in the second final, just after the start, the crash of a rider slowed the race of the best ones, who had to make difficult comebacks, on the very technical track set up in the city of the Basque Country. European Individual Ice Speedway Championship at Electron (Russia)

The city of Electron, in Russia, hosted the Final 1 and 2 of the European Individual Ice Speedway Championship. The event was held in front of around 5.000 spectators on each day, with sunny weather and temperatures around minus 25/20°C. The track conditions were perfect during the whole meeting thanks to the excellent job of the local club. There were some crashes during hard fight for points, but luckily with no injuries for the riders. The winner was Igor Kononov in front of Eduard Krysov and Nikita Bogdanov, all from Russia. FIM Europe at the “Danish Motorsport Award 2018” in Copenhagen

The traditional Prize Giving Ceremony of the Denmarks Motor Union (DMU) took place at the famous “Docken” at Nordhavn in Copenhagen, Denmarks capital. Many kind of events are organized at “Docken”, such as Seminars, Meetings, Conferences, Networking Events, Exhibitions and, of course, Motorsport Awards. An overall look of the evening. All photos © Allan Hogholm The Award Gala was a joint venture of DMU and DASU, the Danish Automobile Sports Union – a real and true festival of Danish motorsport. The Gala was shown live on “TV3 Sport”. DMU President Jorgen Bitsch and DMU Secretary General Jonas Nygaard welcomed many riders, their families clubs, organizers, officials as well as the Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Denmark Mr Hans Natorp; all in all an amazing attendance of 900 VIP guests. The regulations for the FIM Moto3™ Junior World Championship, Moto2™ European Championship (in the photo), and European Talent Cup are available here. For the purposes of simplicity and convenience/utility, these regulations include both specific sporting and technical rules for the above mentioned classes. 2nd FIM Europe Moto-Tour Assistant Training Course

On proposal of the FIM Europe Touring Commission, FIM Europe is launching the 2nd FIM Europe Moto-Tour Assistant Training Course, which will take place in Barcelona (Spain) on the 14th April 2018. The first Professional Level Moto-Tour Assistant Training Course was held on September 3rd 2016 at Honda Safety Center in Barcelona, Spain and was particularly successful. The participants of the first Course had some solid recognition of the value of their certification when, on the base of their certification, they were chosen to perform very professional guided tours in their Countries.
