European Trial Championship in Poland – Preview

bertaAbellan1
After the first round held in Castelloli over 1 month ago, the FIM Europe Youth and Women Trial Championship is back in the upcoming week-end. The 2nd and 3rd round are scheduled in Miekinia, 4 km from Krzerzowice, Poland. It is a quite famous venue, become almost a fixed appointment held every 2 years. Thanks to a small area completely closed to traffic, the local club can fully satisfy the main purposes of this event - reserved to women and the very young boys. It means that even those who have not yet the right age to get a regular riding license in their country, are allowed to compete with trial motorcycles. Not only, but Krzerzowice offers a huge benefit also to public, because they can watch the whole competition, simply walking from one section to another, all in not more than 10 km squared. There will be two different

Enduro European Championship at Bacau (Romania) - Day2

2018-05-20_Hugo Blanjoue France KTM
The Day2 of the second round of Enduro European Championship was held today at Bacau, in Romania. Despite the rain at night, the track was probably even better than the day before. In addition, there was not so much dust, which had partly led to visibility problems on the first day and the ground was partially more handy. The leader of the overall championship, Italian Alessandro Battig, took his revenge. Yesterday he had lost a lot of time in the difficult uphill, where he had to push and fight, but things went smoothly for the Kawasaki rider today. Already in the first special-test of the day he was able to set the fastest time. In the new modified enduro test, in which the increasingly difficult uphill was cut out, he managed to gain the overall victory in the end of the day. However, young Swede Erik Appelqvist finished dangerously close to

It was their first ever event beside a club event at Brno Circuit. The organiser made its best job, with 18 entries and 16 riders on the grid. Hopefully the number of the riders will increase because the category is very exciting. Here were some present very special "home-made" bikes together with the Krämer Motorcycles based on KTM engine or the factory KTM bikes. The pole position was taken by Mr. Thomas Mair from Austria during the Qualifying Practice on Saturday. In race1 held on Saturday the winner was Jerry Van den Bunt (KMNV) ahead of Josef Frauenschuh (AMF) and of Jürgen Pirstner (AMF). On Sunday 2 more races were held. In the first one Jerry Van

European Superstock 1000 Championship at Imola (Italy) – Day2

53320_r5_action_full
Matteo Ferrari (Barni Racing Team) took the first win of his short career in the European Superstock 1000 Championship, after a blistering run which saw him start from the third row, before methodically picking off every single one of his rivals, and resisting a late revival from Roberto Tamburini (Berclaz Racing Team SA). Running only his fifth STK1000 race, his third at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola, Ferrari passed Maximilian Scheib (Aprilia Racing Team) at the end of lap 9, and kept his distances from then on. It could have been close if the race had been any longer, however, with Tamburini mounting an incredible comeback from thirteenth in the second half of the race. Championship leader Markus Reiterberger (Alpha Racing-Van Zon-BMW) quickly made his way up to fifth in the first lap, but then struggled to find the same pace he had at Aragon and
