EMX Quad European Championship at Kivioli (Estonia)

The fifth round of EMX Quad was held at Kivioli, Estonia, with 15 riders from 9 Countries. The winner of the qualifying race was Christopher Tvaraen from NMF. With fine weather and perfect track conditions, racing was phenomenal as well. At the start the holeshot belonged to Christopher Tvaraen who was still on the front at the finish line. Second position for Kevin Saar ahead of Martin Adamson both from Estonia. Christopher Tvaraen won second race too, this time ahead of Harry Walker from ACU and home rider Martin Adamson. In the overall Christopher Tvaraen won ahead of Harry Walker and Martin Adamson. Road Race Hill Climb European Championship at Julbach (Austria)

The third of six rounds of Road Race Hill Climb European Championship was held at Julbach, in Austria, in a sunny, warm day, on a perfectly prepared track, ahead of around 8000 spectators. On Sunday there were no crashes but a fair fight. In 250GP the fastest was Guido Testoni (ITA) on his Honda. In SSP very hard fight between Daniele Stolli (ITA) and Uwe Rademacher (SUI). They have the same points after this event but they both overtake Rafael Neuner after his crash in FP. Christian Wiesinger-Mayr (AUT) of Superbike class won an event with the new track record in 1:05,766 s. and average speed 140,7 km/h. Second was Wolfgang Gammer ahead of Andreas Gangl, all from Austria. In SuperMoto the winner was Josef Frauenschuh, ahead of Phillip Neumuller and Florian Winkler, all from Austria In 250GP Guido Testoni increases his advantage; we have a new leader in Supersport

EMX 65 and 85 SE Zone and Open at Mladina (Croatia)

In sunny, hot weather in the Croatian city of Jastrebarsko, on the track of Mladina, the EMX 65/85 SE Zone and EMX OPEN went on stage. EMX 85 In the qualifying race the Hungarian riders Laszlo Mark and Tecsi Pergel Bence finished ahead of local rider Patrik Ujcic. In Race 1 Hungarian riders Laszlo Mark Tecsi and Bence Pergel finished in the first two positions ahead of Hungarian Viktor Varro. In Race2 Laszlo Mark Tecsi did the holeshot again and lead the race followed by Bence Pergel, who took the lead when Tecsi crashed. Second position for Viktor Varo ahead of home rider Luka Kunic. The overall winner is Bence Pergel, ahead of Viktor Varro and Luka Kunic. EMX 65 In the qualifying race Romanian rider Zoltan Ordog lead from start to finish. EMX 65 and 85 NW Zone at Sverepec (Slovakia) – Day1

The fourth round of the European EMX 65cc and EMX 85cc North West is being held this weekend at Sverepec, in Slovakia. The organizer made a great job to have the track in order for this event, and all the riders enjoyed a perfect track for free practice and qualifying practice today. Qualifying race in EMX 85cc saw Liam Everts from Belgium take the holeshot and gain the pole position. Second place for Constantin Piller from Germany ahead of Radek Vetrovsky from Czech Republic. In the EMX 65cc class Vitezslav Marek from Czech Republic was the first rider at the finish line and got pole position for Sunday’s race ahead of Aaron Kowatsch and Bradley Mesters. European 250 cc Youth Speedway Cup at Randers, in Denmark

2018 European 250 cc Youth Speedway Cup – Final
The Final of the European 250 cc Youth Speedway Cup was held at the Fladbro Speedway Center, at Randers, in Denmark. It was a very interesting meeting, where 17 riders were fighting for the 250cc Speedway European Youth Cup. The winner with maximum of 5 straight wins was the Danish talent Marcus Birkemose closely followed by the rest of the field. Second position for Phillip Hellström-Bängs, from Sweden, ahead of Esben Hjerrild from Denmark. Perfect track conditions enabled the very good and fair racing even though very heavy rain forced the organiser to postpone the meeting from Sunday. Andreas Perez passes away

Andreas Perez
It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Andreas Perez Manresa, following an incident during Round 4 of the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ World Championship at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Perez was a standout performer in the 2017 European Talent Cup, taking two wins and a number of further podiums during the season to end the year in fourth. For 2018, he had moved up to the Moto3™ Junior World Championship, competing with the Reale Avintia Academy team. The Spaniard was involved in an incident during Round 4 of the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship and later succumbed to his injuries. The incident happened in the second race of the day for the Moto3™ category, with the red flag shown immediately. The rider received medical attention at the side of the track before then being transferred to the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant

European Superstock 1000 at Brno (Czech Republic) – Day2

Maximilian Scheib (Aprilia Racing Team) scored his first win of the 2018 European Superstock 1000 Championship in slippery conditions at the Automotodrom Brno. The Chilean was unstoppable in wet conditions, taking the second win of his STK1000 career, and moving his Aprilia to within just 9 points of the championship lead. Alessandro Delbianco (GULF ALTHEA BMW Racing Team) and Florian Marino (URBIS Yamaha Motoxracing STK Team) climbed to the rostrum for the first time this year, in second and third, respectively. It had not rained at the Moravian track since early on Friday morning, but while the STK1000 riders set up on the grid the clouds opened and a weekend’s worth of showers dropped inside fifteen minutes. With some clouds in the sky but still very warm temperatures the track in Poznan was ready for the race day of the third round of the Supermoto European Championship. The organisation did its very best to make the event a success, and the riders loved every minute on the perfectly prepared track. After an eventful event on Sunday, it was Tuning Motorsport rider Milan Sitniansky who took the victory in the S1 class. In the S1 Light class it was again Phoenix Racing rider Elia Sammartin who took the victory. Race1 The first race in Poznan saw 28 riders on the starting grid. At the start it was Degasoline rider Pavel Kejmar to take the holeshot into the first long fast corner of the circuit, followed by Phoenix Racing rider Markus and KTM MTR rider Laurent Fath. European Moto2 and Talent Cup at Barcelona (Spain)

On the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Jesko Raffin (Swiss Innovative Investors Junior, photo1) and Augusto Fernández (Easyrace, photo2) shared the honours in Moto2™, while Matteo Patacca (SIC58 Squadra Corse) won in the European Talent Cup. The European Kawasaki Z Cup race was abandoned due to rain. Jesko Raffin won the first Moto2™ race of the day in which he took part in an intense duel with Augusto Fernández. The Swiss poleman took the lead right from the start, followed by Edgar Pons (AGR Team), Héctor Garzó (Team Wimu CNS), Dimas Ekky (Astra Honda Racing Team) and Marc Alcoba (Dynavolt Intact Junior Team). Jesko Raffin pulled away followed by Edgar Pons while Dimas Ekky led a small pursuing group.
