European Super Enduro Cup at Krakow (Poland)

On Saturday 8 December, the opening competition of the FIM Europe Super Enduro Cup was held at Krakow, Poland, in the context of the Maxxis FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. The Tauron Arena was sold out to host the first round and the Polish fans kept up their reputation for being the most passionate and enthusiastic on the calendar. At the start 36 riders from all over Europe. After a long day of testing, only 14 managed to qualify for the final races. The German rider Robert Scharl (Husqvarna) won the overall thanks to the second position in the first heat for only 3 seconds and after having dominated the final heat. He has also gained the leadership in the Championship. Bury Paul (France - Beta) and Thomas Hostinsky (Slovakia - Husqvarna), finished in second and third position respectively. The FIM CEV Repsol 2019 Provisional Calendar 2019 has been issued and it regards Moto3 Junior World Championship as well as European Moto2 Championship and European Talent Cup. The provisional calendar foresees the first race on April 7th at Estoril (Portugal), to conclude on November 10th at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Spain, with the 8th round. European Moto2 and Talent Cup at Valencia (Spain)

The last round of European Moto2, Talent Cup and Kawasaki Z Cup was held at Valencia (Spain). Yesterday the quickest of the Moto2™ European Championship riders was Edgar Pons (AGR Team, photo1), who took pole position ahead of the Italian Tommaso Marcon (Team Ciatti) and local rider Héctor Garzó (Team Wimu CNS). Swiss rider Jesko Raffin (Easy Race), champion since Albacete, gained the third row of the grid with the seventh best time, more than a second adrift of the poleman. The youngest riders in the FIM CEV Repsol, competing in the European Talent Cup, are the only ones who still have a title to fight for. José Antonio Rueda (Estrella Galicia) earned pole position after dominating the two qualifying sessions of Group B. 2nd session of the FIM Europe Sporting Commissions in Fiumicino

The FIM Europe Commission Meetings continued today with the second session of Sporting Commissions, which followed the first session of Sporting Commissions in October and which will be followed by the Non-Sporting Commissions next January. The 2nd session of the FIM Europe Sporting Commissions in Fiumicino (Italy) The meeting was held, as in the past, at the Tiber Hotel in Fiumicino, near Rome (Italy). In this first session there were the meetings of the Road Racing, Motocross & Snowcross, Enduro & Rally and Vintage Commissions. In this second session, the meetings of Track Racing, Supermoto, Trial, Drag Racing and Motoball were held, with the participation of Sporting Council Chairman Martin de Graaff and of FIM Europe Secretary General Alessandro Sambuco. Joining the meeting, also Armando Castagna, FIM CCP Director and Thierry Michaud, FIM CTR Director. FIM Europe launches the European Superstock 1000 Cup in the Alpe Adria series

On September 27th 2018 FIM Europe and Dorna WSBK Organization have announced that as of 2019 the European Superstock 1000 Championship will no longer be part of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. Last September FIM Europe and Dorna WSBK Organization have announced that as of 2019 the European Superstock 1000 Championship will no longer be part of the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship. FIM Europe is now planning to create a European Superstock 1000 Cup, as from 2019, in the Alpe Adria series. The Alpe Adria Motorcycle Union was founded in 1981. The Motocross Commission was founded before, but soon, other disciplines of motorsport were organised. Road racing is the most successful discipline in AAMU with an average of more than 500 riders per season and a history of 20 years of competition.
