Graduated in Intercultural Communication and journalist since 2014, she has been working in the motorsport for more than 10 years, gaining experience both in on-road and off-road competitions. Thanks to the collaboration with leading companies in the sports sector, she has developed her professional background enriching with specific knowledge in the field of communication, press office and social media. The 2019 MACEC General Assembly  in Prague/CZE

The General Assembly of MACEC (Motorcycle Association of Central European Countries) was held on 23rd February in Prague. The following member Federations were present: ACCR (Czech Republic), BFMS (Belarus), LMSF (Lithuania), FMU (Ukraine), FRM (Romania), PZM (Poland) and SMF (Slovakia). MACEC President Andrzej Grodzki opened that meeting, welcomed all participants  – among them FIM Europe acting President Martin de Graaff, FIM Board Member/ACCR President  Jan Stovicek, FIM Europe Honorary Vice President Andrzej Witkowski. He thanked the ACCR – the Federation which joint MACEC in 2018 -  for organization of the event. ACCR President Jan Stovicek welcomed everybody, expressed his satisfaction to host the MACEC General Assembly in Prague and wished everybody a fruitful meeting and a nice stay in the capital of Czech Republic. First Snowmobile Tour-Assistant Seminar in Finland

Finnish Motorcycling Federation (SML)  held the first Snowmobile Tour Assistant Seminar in Rovaniemi On the 7th-9th February 2019, the first Snowmobile Tour Assistant and Safety Seminar was held in Rovaniemi /Finland, perfectly organized by the Finnish Motorcycling Federation (SML). The goal of this Seminar was to start developing the guidelines and education for the Snowmobile Tour Assistants and Club Members, who are arranging snowmobile safaris and adventures, including the commercial safari entrepreneurs. Eight Members of the Finnish Club LaMK took part in the first seminar, whose Head Instructor was Mr. Jukka Lainkari, Member of the FIM Europe Touring Commission and also Member of SML Board. “The main goal is to build an education based on the FIM Europe Moto-Tour Assistant Training Courses, but of course in terms of snowmobiles, which means that the contents differ a lot from the motorcycle world” commented Mr. Lainkari. “Safety is the main issue, but the

Superenduro European Championship in Hungary

The second FIME Super Enduro Cup was held last weekend at  Papp László Sportaréna, just 2 km from Budapest city center together with the FIM World Championship. There were almost 8500 spectators with a full arena in the evening. The weather was quite cold, just some degrees over the zero and the organisers worked very well. In the European Cup there were 23 rider from 11 federation and in FIM Junior and FIM Prestige class were 37 riders in total. European Cup riders were split in two groups A and B and these groups had separate practice at 11:30 and 11:40. Same groups had a Time Practice (qualification) at 13:42 and 13:52. From Time Practice 10 best riders got a final place. For not-qualified riders there was Last Change race 14:50 where best 4 got a final place and next 2 was reserve riders. European Individual Ice Speedway Championship in Ufa (Russia)

  The event was held last week-end in in Ufa, Russia and was organized in very high level under and excellent winter weather with a temperature of about - 8 C. 4500 spectator attended the event and enjoyed the fight which saw that Russian riders  on top but FMI  Lukas Bauer and KNMV  Jesper Iwema riders were very near to got the title. It was necessary to have a rerun for third and fourth place between those two riders and Lukas won third place before Jasper. The meeting was interesting to the very last heat with a hard fight in very good ice and the Final A, which took place the Saturday, was also “ The Memorial Heat Gabdrahman Kadyrov ”. Gabdrahman Kadyrov won the first two European Championships in 1963, 1964 and has been Ice Speed ​​World Champion in 1966, 1968, 1969, 1971, 1972 and 1973. 2019 FIM Europe Snowcross Joins World Championship in Sweden

MONACO (Principality of Monaco) XX February 2019 - Youthstream is happy to announce that the 2019 FIM Europe Snowcross Championship will take place the 5-6th of April alongside the SNX World Championship at the Bodentravet trotting track in Sweden’s northern town of Boden.     Last year the best Snowcross riders in Europe competed in Finland where Pär Vikman dominated the class with perfect race results to take the title. Jonas Laakkonen and Robert Lunden took 3rd and 2nd last year but will likely head to Sweden this April for their chance to take the title of European Champion from Vikman! JIR and FIM Europe are launching the new 2019 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup. This new single-brand continental cup will be run with the new Yamaha YZF-R3 machine equipped with a race kit. Aim of the series, on seven events taking place in important circuits, is to find motorcycle racing’s future world champions. At entry level, the challenge will be for riders from 13 to 19 years-old called the bLU cRU category, while the Open Class will give the access to older riders. The bikes will be shared among the riders of the two groups.
