Enduro European Championship: Albin Elowson wins first day in Brezno The Swede Albin Elowson won the first day of the second round of this year's European Enduro Championship in Brezno / Slovakia, in the overall standings: The Husqvarna rider gradually managed to get ahead of championship leader Kristof Kouble, who in the end added up to over half a minute. Both riders also won their cubic capacity class, Elowson the four-stroke 250cc class and Kouble the junior 2-3 class. The junior class 1, with the smaller cubic capacity motorcycles, was won by the Finn Roni Kytönen, who had to overtake some slower riders on the track in front of him, otherwise he might have been even better than his fourth place in the overall standings. FIM Europe – FEMA meeting The 15th of May FIM Europe and FEMA met in Roma Fiumicino. The main purpose was to update the position papers presented in June 2017 during the FIM Europe Congress in Rome. On the actual 11 papers, the meeting has decided to consider two new items that came to the attention recently: ISA (Intelligent Speed Assistance or Adaptation) and PLEV (Personal Light Electric Vehicles). These will be presented in July during the FIM Europe Congress in Zagreb. To guarantee a proper understanding in between the two Associations at least a once a year meeting has been planned. Two riders raced in the Supersport World Championship race: Kyle SMITH from Great Britain and the Italian Fabio Massei started in ESS. EMX 65 / EMX 85 European Championship North West zone and EMX Women's European Championship: third round in Denmark In the weekend of 11th-12th May the 3rd round of North West European Motocross 65 and 85 cc Championship was held in Slagelse (Denmark) together with the 3rd round of Womens European Motocross Championship. A sunny weather welcomed about 300 spectators to watch the event live in the track. After the technical control there were 30 riders in the EMX65 class, 43 riders in the EMX85 class and 33 riders in the EMX Women class. EMX65 first heat was won by Czech rider Vitezlav Marek, 15 seconds before Lotte van Drunen (The Netherlands) and 21 seconds before Swedish rider Anton Isakson. The second heat was again won by Vitezslav Marek, this time 1 second before Lotte van Drunen and 11 seconds before Anton Isaksson. The overall standing for this event show

Vintage Endurance Cup: Round 1 in Le Castellet The first race for FIM Europe Vintage Endurance Cup was organised on 11th May at Paul Ricard race track, Le Castelet, near Marseille, in a totally brand-new year with a new promoter. The race was very professionally organised by French Federation and Paul Ricard staff for 44 teams and 60 bikes from 9 different nations: each team consists of two or three riders (depending of the strategy). Timed practices started on Friday while warm up was on Saturday at 2 pm. After one hour warm up was finished, teams could make final order which rider will start the race. The pole position was for Belgian Team Force, second position was for Phase One Endurance team from UK while the third place for Road Runner Team from Neatherlands. Enduro European Championship: second round in Slovakia The European Enduro Championship changes to the second round of the four competitions into Slovakia, next weekend on 18th and 19th of May 2019: The former mining town also has a tradition in Enduro sport. For a long time, the "Sports Training Centre for Offroad Motorcycles" was one of the largest clubs in Slovakia. Numerous competitions took place here, an just last year on round to the Slovak and Czech Championships. The riders and teams of the European Championship move to the historical market square in the middle of the city, where the paddock and the administration centre are located. On Saturday and Sunday the more than 100 riders from 13 nations will be sent out for the three laps from 9:00 a.m. onwards. Through two days of racing the conditions can only be definable as polar opposite with the lone ambiguous adjective being challenging. The younger and smaller cc two stroke of EMX 125 Presented by FMF Racing also dealt with the same challenging conditions as even the MXGP and MX2 riders. In a class that is one of the most difficult to be consistent in even with perfect conditions Team Maddii Racing Husqvarna’s Mattia Guadagnini did the seemingly impossible with double race wins.
